Simone Biles ‘super frustrated’ after shocking withdrawal from Olympics gymnastics competition

Simone Biles indicated her shocking withdrawal from the women’s gymnastics team competition Tuesday in Tokyo was due to the emotional toll she is feeling as “the head star” of the Olympics rather than any physical injury.

“Physically, I feel good, I’m in shape,” the 24-year-old Biles told NBC’s Hoda Kotb after the team earned the silver medal following her departure. “Emotionally, that kind of varies on the time and moment. Coming to the Olympics and being head star isn’t an easy feat, so we’re just trying to take it one day at a time and we’ll see.

“I’m OK, just super frustrated of how the night, but super proud of these girls and now we’re silver medalists. Something we’ll cherish forever. We hope America still loves us.”

Biles also shared that her teammates “were freaking out” when she informed them of her decision to drop out of the competition.

She’s 24, this is her last Olympics.  Rather than go out on top or die trying, she bails and fucks over the rest of her teammates.

When the going gets tough, Millennials quit and whine about how tough it is to the media.

So much for our Olympic Princess.

This is just getting more embarrassing by the day.

  1. I’m actually kind of enjoying this.

As soon as I heard about the people being selected to represent the US in the Olympics who were going to turn their backs on the flag, or didn’t want to hear the National Anthem of the nation they’re representing, I lost all interest.

If one of the requirements for being selected to represent the country isn’t respect for and support of said country, what’s the point?

Also, now that men can compete in the women’s competitions, what’s the point in having women’s competitions? Basically, we just have two levels of competition, the “A” league and the “B” league. The men who aren’t good enough for the A league just grow out their hair, take Testosterone suppressing drugs for a year and then compete in the B league.

    Not worth the bother.

    1. That’s pretty much where I’m at with all of this. Between the covidiocy and the actively shitting on the country they were at the games to represent, I could give a shit about the Olympics this year.

Though it was great to hear about the US bringing hardware home in the shooting games. That’s about it.

  2. Her comments almost read as if she wants people to be sympathetic to her. Like, she is some poor victim, unable to perform because of media attention.

Meanwhile, there are gymnasts, well Olympians in all sports, who compete and win with serious injuries. But, poor little Simone is dealing with some emotional stress because of media attention, and we are all supposed to weep alongside her.

I hope she loses every endorsement she has.

  3. So watching the recorded event, the talking heads showed clips and discussed how there have been a LOT of mistakes made by Biles over the last year or so. That means the media, Biles, her coaches, etc. have all known there were issues for a long time but this is the first we’re hearing about it.

So that begs the question. Who is most responsible for hiding all this and putting her in a position to screw Team USA?

  4. Hahaha. And her generation talks trash about Boomers?

Nadia Comaneci competed with shin splints and torn tendons and got a perfect 10.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA

Though I’ve been enjoying the shooting sports and other less known like fencing where we’ve been winning and our winning athletes are NOT turning their backs nor acting the maggot.

At least Katie Ledeky has the ‘balls’ to perform and do her best in her last Olympics.

Funniest? Simone is known as ‘The GOAT’ (Greatest of all Times) and that seems to be more of a scapegoat. hahahahahhahaha

  5. Give her a participation trophy (value not to exceed $5), a cup of warm milk and send her home, at her own expense.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
