I remember getting sunburned while fishing one year on December 21st, the shortest day of the year with the sun the farthest south.
My wife was playing in her garden at the end of February a couple of years ago and almost had a heat stroke.
Just two examples of why, “gee, the sun feels good” is something we almost never say.
I have two sunstrokes on my sorry ass… I avoid the darn thing as much as possible which is the reason the doc has me on vitamin D.
Hey now, Miami had snowfall not that long ago, back in 1977. 🙂
I remember coming out of a bar at closing in Tampa in ’77, and it was snowing a light snow. One of the girls was freaking out and laughing and running around because she never had seen snow!
