I had to read it three times before I could believe it was printed.
At times, Nikolas Cruz’s behavior could be a school administrator’s nightmare: Teachers and other students said he kicked doors, cursed at teachers, fought with and threatened classmates and brought a backpack with bullets to school. He collected a string of discipline for profanity, disobedience, insubordination, and disruption.
Parkland shooter always in trouble, never expelled. Could school system have done more
Let me see if I get this right: Cruz brought bullets to class and nothing happened to him. A kid in Maryland makes a pop-tart look like a gun and the school and he gets suspended and the suspension ratified by a judge.
But wait, there is more:
Records show the behaviors continued at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, which he attended in 2016 and 2017 before being transferred, with discipline being dispensed for fighting, profanity, and an “assault.” It appears the Jan. 19, 2017 assault resulted in a referral for a “threat assessment.”
You go on and read the article and find out that the Broward School System really did not want to take the hard decisions and bounced the kid around, basically rewarding his behavior. I do understand why parents are choosing home schooling, I would not want my kids in a class with a government-protected killer.
Florida Schools are now officially part of the Florida Man Network.
Damn. My kid got a 3 day suspension for popping a lunch bag in the lunchroom because it ‘sounded like gun fire’.
It’s racist to punish minority students for bad behavior, so now 17 kids are dead and I have to lose my guns in Alabama.
[…] Broward County school system failed at every possible turn to stop this because Liberals have their panties in a knot over the “school to prison […]
