Watching the horror coming out of Moore OK. just left me without any desire to engage in petty political B.S. One’s soul just aches seeing the pain and the devastation but it picks up when you see the determination of the victims to survive and the goodness of those that came to the rescue.
I was barely holding my own when I saw this pic:
And this one took me over the top:
Help if you can, say several prayers.
Used to live about 5 miles north of the path. Lived there in May of ’99. My kids got together to see the new Star Trek Movie Saturday, in the Theater they’ve been showing on the news. My cousins and their families live in Newcastle ( all okay).
Photos, videos, nothing really conveys the full impact, and frankly, the just plain weirdness.
I lived through several hurricanes and one very small tornado. I’ll take hurricanes any day. The only thing that scared me more was an earthquake back when I was a child.
“..dying dog…”
Jeez, Miguel, just shoot me! It would be less painful.
