Brady misses the mark on purpose with New Zealand .

So all Gun Crime in NZ is gone or almost gone, right?

Today marks the second anniversary of the Christchurch terror attacks, in which military style semi-automatic weapons, purchased legally, were used to gun down 51 innocent worshippers.
That sparked tougher gun laws and the much debated firearms buy-back.
But in 2020, gun crime hit a new peak.
Police figures show 2399 people were charged with 4542 firearm-related offences, nearly double that of a decade earlier.

Rise in gun crime despite government clampdown after terror attack

If they have about a quarter of an ounce of shame and honesty, they would not dare to ignore New Zealand firearms-related increase crime rate, nor celebrate the almost dictatorial powers that the Kiwis give to their Prime Minister. But Brady is so desperate for a win, they are willing to sacrifice anything to achieve it: Honor, Truth and our lives.

Yaphet Kotto, RIP

Great actor, simply amazing the way he played so many characters. To me he will always be Lieutenant Al Giardello in Homicide: Life in the Streets. He was more Italian that many Italians I knew.

And, of course, there are many passing scenes in Hollywood, but few beat this one from Homicide: The Movie. A fitting farewell.

From 6 feet to 3 feet: It is all a controlling pile of BS in the name of Health Safety.

Dr. Anthony Fauci announced Sunday  on CNN that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is analyzing data in order to ascertain the possibility of reducing social distancing guidelines from six feet to three feet, according to Axios.

Fauci made the announcement after a study from the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) found that schools could safely implement reduced distancing policies without endangering students or teachers. According to Fauci, the CDC is beginning its own study and will then be able to take the necessary steps, Axios reported.

“When the data shows that there is an ability to be 3 feet, they will act accordingly,” he said.

CDC ‘Analyzing’ Data And May Reduce Social Distancing Guidelines To 3 Feet, Fauci Says

Mind you, the hermit in me appreciates the idea of having strange people standing well away from me.  But this sudden change in “effective range” of the virus simply tells us they were making shit along as they went and that they had zero “science” behind the recommendations.

The good thing is that people are simply ignoring more and more of these recommendations” and trying to crawl back to a semblance of previous normality. Although I would not put pass this administration to pull an Europe move, determine that vaccines are not safe enough and suspend inoculations till they “have more time to analyze the data” and in the meantime we are back to be under lockdown.

Read the bill.

On first reading, it seems a “logical” bill with what appears to be execution of the confiscation by judge’s orders and return within 24 hours once the issue is over, but I am too paranoid to say good or bad. I’ll leave that to legal experts.

My guess is that seeing how some states played shenanigans with their CWL process during the pandemic, legislators here want to make sure it does not happen in Florida.  Teeth come with the bill in the form of lawsuits.
