What did anyone expect to happen in a place named after a criminal?

Man Shot And Killed Near George Floyd Square In Minneapolis

Authorities say a man was shot and killed near the Minneapolis intersection known as George Floyd Square, where Floyd died in police custody last May.

Police received reports about 5:45 p.m. Saturday that two people had been shot and were being brought to the barricades at the entrance to the area. Police say the victim was gone by the time officers arrived.

Police later learned that the victim had been taken to a hospital, where he died. A second person was not located. The Star Tribune reports that police were met with “some interference” when they responded to the scene, but a department spokesman did not elaborate.

Some interference?

Interference like this, perhaps?

These two masked individuals are openly threatening a reporter in public during daylight hours on a city street.

I suspect the police were treated similarly but due to the situation of the Derek Chauvin trial beginning, they were inclined (if not ordered) to let it slide.

Radical activists create an “autonomous zone” and name it after a criminal, inside of it a person is murdered and the activists patrol it like third-world warlords.

Did anyone expect anything different?

The only real question is why do cities continue to cede zones like this to thugs when everyone knows what happens in them?

Newspapers are filled with independent and trustworthy journalists, right? So why the script?

Buddy Manny L linked me to this meme:

So I followed the instruction and to my surprise, this was the result:

And for the hell of it, I did a quick search to see who owns those papers and much to my not surprise, the one who pays and tell these people what to write is none other than Gannett.

Floridian gun owners have probably heard of Lee Williams, the Gun Writer who for many years was the only  and pro Second Amendment  journalist working for a regular newspaper and had his own blog. Recently he was first ordered to stop the gun articles and then Maribel Perez Wadsworth, president of Gannett news and publisher of USA TODAY, disappeared his blog and podcasts losing almost a decade of work.

I have gotten some criticism for my loathing to newspapers and old Media, but we no longer have even an approximation to a lie of what Journalism was supposed to be.  We have a fully committed propaganda department to an ideology that clashes directly with the Bill of Rights and they could not care less if they are destroying what used to be respected newspapers.

They want power and they do not want anybody standing in the way of achieving it.

Florida Legislature 2021: HB 259 – Safety of Religious Institutions- Education & Employment Committee reports favorable!

Vote was 16 in favor and 5 against. Two Democrats voted in favor.

The posting requirement also removed as in the Senate version. I forgot to post something yesterday that also made appearance briefly today: Even those institutions that would not allow licensed Floridian to carry in their houses of worship, were in favor of removing the signage provision for one very important reason: They know it would make them a target of criminals and crazy killers to announce that no firearms are allowed in their churches.

Bunch of hypocrites in my opinion. Not liking guns but not being upfront about it and trying t cover yourself under the umbrella of other religious institutions that will allow it.

Marion Hammer was present and in favor of the bill. Moms Demand  sent a text to  Representative Williams and she heed the call opposing the bill.

Next stop is the Judiciary Committee. Fingers crossed.

Strategic defeat and the Wokening of the Military Industrial Complex

My last post got me thinking.

Dons tinfoil hat

Our military is on stand down to root out “right wing extremists and white supremacist” which is mostly mid level NCOs and officers who listened to Rush Limbaugh and didn’t pay attention during their diversity and Inclusion briefings.

I previously reported on the Navy’s Task Force 1 going woke over lived experiences.

I also previously reported on the Woke email that got sent around Redstone Arsenal to all the contractors.

President Biden gave an address and talked about the need for maternity flightsuit in the military.

This is a real Tweet from the President’s official Twitter:

Our military is going woke and so are our defense contractors.

Paranoid me said this is a deliberate crippling of the US military.

Not just will our forces be too Woke to fight but the contractors will be too Woke to deliver the best and most tactically and technologically advanced equipped to be a force multiplier.

Really paranoid me wonders if this is being orchistrated by the CCP to eliminate us as a threat.  Why waste lives trying to defeat our military in combat when they can turn us into a strategic laughing stock, putting pregnant aviators who can’t pull high G maneuvers in aircraft with unreliable engines built by the government mandated window dressing sexual diversity hires.

Maybe I’m wrong but I couldn’t think of a better way to eliminate the US military as a global superpower than that.

There is gonna be a lot of Coders out there.

The face you make when you defeated Orange Man and its Capitalism, but get laid off by your army because they need profits to survive.

BuzzFeed announced layoffs in the HuffPost newsroom on Tuesday, just three weeks after finalizing a deal to purchase HuffPost from Verizon Media.

The layoffs will affect 47 U.S. employees. BuzzFeed is also shutting down operations at HuffPost Canada later this month.

The layoffs were made to “fast-track the path to profitability,” BuzzFeed CEO Jonah Peretti told staffers according to HuffPost. Peretti said it would allow the company to break even this year and to eventually turn a profit.

The layoffs come amid a pandemic that has been devastating to many news companies, and The HuffPost Union, organized as part of the Writers Guild of America East, said it was “devastated and infuriated” by the decision.
