When the Left says they need to replace police with social workers or some other non-law enforcement entity, it’s not because they want to help people, it’s because they hate the police.

You would think that a mental health expert would know that causing a scene would agitate someone having a mental health crisis.

But the point wasn’t to help the suicidal man.  It was to hate on the police.

As a result, they made the situation much worse.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., assigned partial blame to Facebook for last week’s riots and indicated Friday that Congress’ response should focus on holding Big Tech accountable rather than ramping up domestic surveillance.

“He is part of this problem,” Ocasio-Cortez said, referring to CEO Mark Zuckerberg. “And Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook bear partial responsibility for Wednesday’s events, period.”

Ocasio-Cortez, who spoke during a video town hall meeting, went on to argue that Facebook was “trying to do as much damage control as possible, but they knew. Not only did they know but they allowed it.”

You figure that with all the billions they make, they would have a couple of analysts or historians working for them and telling them “You know these lefty assholes? They always end up stabbing those who help them. Maybe you should be careful.” But nope, they expected to be allowed to exercise control when the Socialists really like to have all the control themselves and, of course, they will chop your nuts off so you don’t use the same media propaganda techniques against them.

So to Zuckerberg: Fuck you, you built the wall that is going to be the backdrop for your firing squad.

I guess the official press release begging for openness and understanding fell on empty brains. And I guess since it is Portland, the police won’t bother dealing with this crapshoot. Hell, they haven’t burned the store, right? They are lucky, plus I am sure they have insurance.

Southwest Florida February Blogshoot – update

The private range is not available on February 20, but it is available on Saturday, February 27.  I have a verbal commitment to reserve it – there was a mix up last time but the range will be available this time around.  It will give us not only a 25 yard pistol range but a 200 yard rifle range as well.

Please leave a comment to confirm that you are planning to come on the 27th.

Also, if you are an NRA certified RSO can you please email me with your RSO cert which the gun club wants.

The Venue:

When: Saturday, February 27 at 10:00 AM (until 4:00 PM)

Where: Manatee Gun and Archery Club, 1805 Logue Rd, Myakka City, FL 34251

Facilities:  Some of our readers are bringing their betters halves (as am I) and the fairer sex will be relieved to know that there are proper, civilized facilities in the club house.

As for the last part, the missus gives full confirmation on that.

And yes, we will be going. We do need NRA certified RSOs so we can spread the love of Safe Shooting and also now we have 2 ranges to take care of. Even though we had great people last time, having only 2 RSOs was a bit taxing.

And don’t forget tables. we are going to need tables for all the guns. Seriously, we ran out of space last time with so many guns.
