Hardcore Bernie Bros show more of their totalitarian side

In case you missed the news, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib was arrested and briefly detained during a protest by striking airline workers at the Metro Detroit Airport.

This is how some Bernie Bros responded to the news.

It’s good to see them admit that when Bernie is in power, representative democracy will be done away with and their favorite politicians will be appointed to rule in the American Politburo.

Socialism is totalitarianism, the two cannot be separated.

This is why I write so much about how to keep moderates from becoming supporters/useful idiots for Bernie, to make sure that Bernie and his dyed-in-the-wool ideologue supporters don’t have the slightest chance of getting into power.

The McKinsey Mind: how to harm capitalism and cause drug and video game addiction in the process

I was thinking about my post from yesterday about McKinsey & Co and the false technocratic managerial class and it got me thinking about some of the ugliness of modern America.

The majority of human beings like to be productive.  Our brains are hardwired this way.  When we accomplish something, our brains squirt out a little bit of neurotransmitter called dopamine.  Dopamine is our motivation chemical.

This is most likely an evolutionary advantage.  The lazy hunter-gatherer starved.  One might be motivated by the survival instinct to work just hard enough not to die.  But a brain that rewards strong motivation and accomplishment is going to make a caveman that is going to be prosperous and have an increased likelihood of survival.

We see this in our lives all around us.  Having one lazy, restful day after a hard workweek feels good.  Being indolent for days on end feels like shit.

The highest rates of misery, drug and alcohol abuse, and crime are found in neighborhoods with high unemployment and lots of welfare.  Neighborhoods, where the rates of employment are high, are generally peaceful, with happy people and low rates of crime.

Productive work doesn’t make people miserable, being idol makes people miserable.

But there is a caveat to this.  People need to feel rewarded for their work in order for them to feel productive.  There are many kinds of rewards, some immediate, others long term.  It is that reward at the end of the hard work that really makes our brains happy.

Just watch Dirty Jobs on the Discovery Channel.  The people featured in that show do hard and often disgusting jobs.  Overwhelming they are small business owners and they always love their jobs.  They work hard and at the end of the day, they make good money and can say proudly “I accomplished something.”

Enter the capitalist system.  In its purest, small-business-mentality form, capitalism is the economic system that best fits our brains.

You work hard, develop certain skills, produce a good or provide a service that people want.  You sell that good or service and make money.  You take that money, work even harder, make more money.  There is a direct relationship between hard work and success.  Motivation and accomplishment.

This is fundamentally why the capitalist system encourages success.  Any economic system that strays from this encourages failure.

Now enter the McKinsey mind.  The article I covered yesterday talked about how McKinsey gutted middle management and the idea of someone working their way up from the bottom.  Outsourcing, part timing, and gig work have become the name of the game.

Despite the booming economy, half of Americans didn’t get a rise last year.  Most of them were in the middle of the economic ladder.

So what has happened?

The McKinsey model means that while the middle class works, the management class gets the raises and bonuses.  Productivity at the middle level of the company is not rewarded in a real, tangible way.  No short term bonuses, no long term upward mobility.

The lean, mean, cut-to-the-bone, “employees are an expense to be minimized, not an asset to be invested in” McKinsey model has been the primary driver of the lack of raises, promotions, and bonuses to the non-professional management middle sector of our economy.

This is absolutely demoralizing to the human brain.  We need our accomplishment fix.

For many young men, video games provide this.  Video games are a digital microcosm of work and reward.  The more intense you play, the higher the score you get.  Do something really special and “Achievement Unlocked” appears on the screen.  It’s real, immediate gratification, and that is highly addictive.  It’s the same neurology/psychology as gambling addiction.

If video games don’t do it, you can just consume alcohol which forces your brain to release dopamine or opiate that stimulates the dopamine receptors in the brain.

We have seen how alcohol, drug, and video game addiction is increasingly prevalent among young men in the working and middle classes.

With no reward or upward mobility, and a very real sense that a career is non-existent and life is simply treading water between gigs, it is no surprise that the demographic that experiences this turns to artificial means of feeling accomplished.

Yes, I am saying that I believe that McKinsey is largely responsible for the drug and video game addiction of so many young men in America today.

Again, I want to make this clear.  I am not indicting all of capitalism.  I am a capitalist.

I am indicting this particularly destructive idea that has created a cloistered, self-protected, managerial and consulting elite, that exists only to reward itself at the expense of everyone else.

Hopefully, one day, we as a society will come to see McKinsey and the managerial consulting class activity for what it is, a crime against humanity.

What you won’t hear on the second anniversary of the Parkland Shooting

Via Clayton Cramer:

Immediately after the shooting, kind of two groups of students came forward. And one group got a lot more attention than the other.

The group of students [that] got attention said, “We blame the Second Amendment. We blame the NRA. We blame the gun for what happened.” The other group of students said, “We knew it was him before it was over. The student threatened to kill us. He threatened to rape us. He threatened to kill our families. He brought knives to school. He brought bullets to school. We saw something. We said something. They did nothing. They didn’t protect us from him.”

‘Exposing Everything That Went Wrong’: A Parkland Researcher Speaks Out

Don’t forget that still not a single member of the Broward County school board has been punished for the many mistakes that led to the killings and they even got rewarded with an infusion of taxpayer’s money. We rewarded bad behavior handsomely.

Black Alabama Democrat goes full KKK/Nazi in support of abortion

This appeared in the news yesterday:

Alabama Democrat proposes bill mandating all men have vasectomy at age 50 or after third child

State Rep. Rolanda Hollis (D-Birmingham) on Thursday filed a bill that would mandate every Alabama man to undergo a vasectomy within one month of his 50th birthday or the birth of his third biological child, whichever comes first.

Democrats in the Alabama legislature last year brought up the possibility of introducing such a bill during the abortion debate on 2019’s HB 314, known as the Human Life Protection Act.

“Under existing law, there are no restrictions on the reproductive rights of men,” states the introduction to Hollis’ new bill, HB 238.

This is the same rep that read the poem “If my vagina was a gun” during the Alabama abortion bill debate.  So we know deep thoughts are not her forte.

First of all, there is no parallel to the rational mind between mandatory vasectomy and an abortion ban.  I disagreed with the Alabama abortion ban but understanding the circumstances of the majority of abortions is important to this analysis.

A man and a woman have consensual, unprotected sex.  The woman gets pregnant.  She decides for whatever reason she does not want to have the child, so she wants to kill her unborn child.  The question here is the right to life of the unborn child and does that supersede the right of the woman to have an abortion.

There is no parallel between that and forcing a man to be sterilized.  One bill prohibits medical intervention the other mandates it.

Only in the most superficial “one law is about vaginas so we’re going to make another law about testicles” does this relate, and it’s so stupid as to be headache-inducing.

But here is where this really gets bad.

There is a terrible history in the south of black men being castrated by the Klan if it was perceived that they had made an advance on a white woman.  Sometimes castration was a prelude to lynching, other times the men were left alive to suffer disfigurement and humiliation.

Of course, in my cultural history as a Jew, the Nazis engaged in the forced sterilization of European Jews.  Their Progressive advocates in the United States were supporters of eugenics which mandated the sterilization of the “mentally feeble,” and encouraged the sterilization of blacks and Jews.

I wonder if she has considered that this law, if passed, might be applied to black men with multiple baby mommas, or does she think of it as applying only to married, suburban Conservative white couples?

The very idea that some Leftist thinks that I should be forcibly sterilized and humiliated by being forced to pay for it, is the kind of thing that makes me go to Cabela’s and burn up some points on ammo.

If you think I won’t comply with an order to take my guns, the non-compliance I will have to an order to take my balls will leave a crater in the earth.

So in this woman’s attempt to be provocative in the most shallow way, has gone into the ash heap of history to recover some of the most egregious and awful behavior of the Klan and the Nazis.  As a black woman, she should be proud.

It’s always the places where you need a gun the most that you can’t have one, NYC compilation edition

I was reading the New York Post for my last post, and ended up doing some click wandering.  All of these stories are from the last three months, a couple from the last few days.

Hammer-wielding mugger attacks woman for purse in Brooklyn, cops say

A man whacked a woman with a hammer after she refused to hand over her pocketbook in a Brooklyn robbery, police said Wednesday.

He tried to snatch her purse as he yelled, “give me the money!” but the woman kept a tight grip on her bag, police added.

The suspect then hit her multiple times on the face with a hammer, causing bruising to her face, before running along Wilson Avenue, cops said.

Video shows him walking down the street in a coat holding a hammer.

Suspect in brutal mugging of elderly woman caught on video released under new bail law

Not even this brutal, caught-on-video mugging — in which a struggling 83-year-old woman was dragged to the ground, and her purse wrenched away — is enough to get a suspect locked up these days under the state’s new bail reform law.

Exclusive video obtained by The Post allegedly shows 56-year-old Dana White, of Jamaica, Queens, walking up behind the victim in front of a building on Eldridge St. on the Lower East Side at about 5:45 a.m. Monday.

I’m going to embed the video of this one:

That is an 83-year old woman.  Shes’ not alone.

66-year-old woman with walker mugged in Bensonhurst

A 66-year-old woman with a walker was mugged on the street in Bensonhurst, cops said.

The woman was walking on Bay 25 Street near Bath Avenue around 10:15 p.m. on Friday when an unknown man grabbed her purse from her walker, dragging her to the ground, according to police.

What is with all these sick animals attacking and mugging old women?

What sort of big man looks at a woman with a walker and says “I’m gonna have to beat the shit out of her for her money?”

This is not the only violence.  New York City’s public transportation has turned gone beyond the Thunderdome.

Man slashed teen girl in unprovoked Bronx subway attack: cops

A man slashed a 19-year-old girl in the head during an unprovoked attack on a Bronx subway car, cops said.

Upon entering the front car, he jumped on her and slashed her in the head and arm with a sharp object, and then ran off at the Brooke Avenue subway stop, cops said.

Subway criminal slashes rider who refused to give up his phone

A man was slashed in the face for refusing to give up his cellphone during a robbery, cops said Tuesday.

The attack happened around 2:30 p.m. Saturday on a Brooklyn-bound B train, police said.

An unidentified man tried to snatch the 31-year-old subway rider’s cellphone while the train was stopped at the Pacific Street station, cops said.

When the commuter refused to give it up, the man slashed him on the left side of the face with a straight razor, then fled in an unknown direction.

This was the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday.  These are not wee hours of the morning crimes where there is nobody around.  This is broad daylight violence.

2 straphangers stabbed in separate subway incidents: cops

Two straphangers were stabbed early Thursday in separate incidents on subway trains, police said.

One victim was dozing on a southbound 4 train near Nevins Street station at about 4:45 a.m. when another rider sneaked up and tried to turn out his pockets, officials said.

About an hour later, a second straphanger was stabbed in the neck near Times Square during an argument with another passenger, cops said.

Two stabbings in a day.  Not even a day, and hour apart during the morning commute window.

Teen slashed by man he bumped into at Queens station during rush hour

A short-tempered straphanger slashed a 19-year-old after the teen bumped into him at a Queens subway station, police said Friday.

The teen was leaving the train station at Union Turnpike/Kew Gardens in Queens around 7 a.m. Thursday when he accidentally knocked into the suspect, police said.

The unhinged attacker suddenly slashed the victim on the right hand and left arm and then fled, police said.

What the fuck?  How many stabbings, slashings, and knifings need to happen on the NYC Subway?

Then there is this story:

Cuomo says street homelessness under de Blasio ‘bad as I have ever seen’

Gov. Andrew Cuomo bluntly said Thursday that New York City’s street homelessness problem under Mayor Bill de Blasio is as “bad” as he’s “ever seen.”

“I’m sure the MTA is working with the businesses, but this homeless issue is not just in one location — it’s all across the city,” the governor said. “The problem of homeless people who are on the street is as bad as i have ever seen it.”

Bail reform, soft on crime policing, and Progressive protesting of police have turned New York City into a violent hellhole.

Of course, this is all possible because the people of New York City are entirely defenseless.  When a man wielding a hammer assaults you, you have no ability to adequately fight him off.

New York City is a hunting ground for criminals to prey on the young, the elderly, and the soft.  If Snake Plissken were to fly his glider into the city right about now, I wouldn’t be surprised.

The fact is, I think New York City is too far gone to be fixed.  New Yorkers are not going to vote for another Guilini to clean up the city.  Those that might have voted for another mayor like him have all fled south.

Welcome to Progressive America, where you will have to wait in line for your turn at a Medicare for All hospital ER to get treatment for your stab wound delivered by a drugged-out vagrant living in a subway station.
