Not a parody: Baltimore Mayor Begs Residents To Stop Shooting Each Other So Hospital Beds Can Be Used For Coronavirus Patients
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore Mayor Jack Young urged residents to put down their guns and heed orders to stay home after multiple people were shot Tuesday night amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
Young said hospital beds are needed to treat positive COVID-19 patients and not for senseless violence. Seven people were shot Tuesday night in the Madison Park neighborhood, as Baltimore reported its fifth positive coronavirus case Wednesday.
“I want to reiterate how completely unacceptable the level of violence is that we have seen recently,” Young said. “We will not stand for mass shootings and an increase in crime.”
Dear Predators. Stuff is getting bad and people are dying coughing. Stoop with boolits.
Love and kisses.
Your Mayor
You cannot appeal to predators. They are not wired to accept that input and process it. But you keep asking alligators to sing La Traviatta and they keep growling and tearing the limbs of the innocent.
But this time is different, we have a big scary event that changes everything. Right on both counts, but the change? Not the one you expect. You will be lucky if only half the city catches fire.
I wish with all my heart that this pandemic does no go crazy, because if they do, a lot of people are gonna get killed for betting on Unicorn Farts and wishful thinking.
