Police: Georgia homeowner shoots, kills 3 teenage boys wearing masks

Investigators tell the station that one of the teens pulled out a gun and fired at neighbors before the homeowner returned fire. Three people were home at the time of the shooting.

Deputies arrived to find all three boys who had been shot lying in the driveway. One of the boys died at the scene. The other two later died at the hospital.

Neighbors tell WSB-TV the homeowner is a truck driver who owns a semi-automatic rifle and is highly protective of his mother.

Police haven’t filed any charges as of Tuesday morning.

So the boys, who were all wearing masks, pulled a gun first and used it.

The homeowner then shot them defending himself and his family.

As you can in the video, there were the family members lamenting that the homeowner defending himself from being shot at by saying they didn’t need to be killed and blah, blah, blah.

Not enough details have been released to know if race is going to become a factor, we shall see

Rockdale County deputies responded to reports of shots fired at a home in the Atlanta suburb shortly after 4 a.m. Monday, according to the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office.
When deputies arrived, they discovered “three males with gunshot wounds and began administering first aid,” the Sheriff’s Office said. Two were hospitalized and died, while the third was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting. Those killed were a pair of brothers, 15 and 16, and another 15-year-old, WSB-TV reported

CONYERS, Ga. — Three masked teenagers were fatally shot after a shootout with a homeowner in Rockdale County early Monday, authorities said.
The incident happened just after 4 a.m. off Flat Shoals Road on White Oak Court in Conyers. The sheriff’s office said the teens, two 16-year-old boys and a 15-year-old, were killed during an exchange of gunfire. It appears the teens were attempting to rob three people in the front yard, authorities said.

3 masked teens shot to death outside Conyers home, sheriff says

Somebody mentions later in the article the homeowner probably using an “assault rifle” which would end up just being the cherry on top.

Never forget they hate you and they hate the idea you can defend yourself with deadly force.

AN SAS hero armed with a shotgun reportedly killed five terrorists in just seven seconds to stop a suicide bombing attack.

The Brit soldier had stormed a bomb factory as part of an SAS raid on an ISIS outpost in Baghdad, Iraq.

As the SAS ‘breach team’ entered a courtyard, they were confronted by a group of heavily armed jihadis.

One of the brave Brits fired at them with his Benelli M4 Super 90 semi-automatic shotgun, killing three would-be bombers.

Another two terrorists appeared from a building and he reportedly shot them dead as well.

Several other jihadis then emerged, but immediately surrendered after seeing two of the bodies “didn’t have heads”, reports claim.

I’m reminded of what the great Clint Smith said about shotguns:

Apparently that SAS operator was at the right range with the right load and that chunk of shit was Muhammad Bin Terrorist’s head.

I remember being told a story by one of my Marine buddies.  They were having problems in Iraq where they would shoot some terrorist in a breaching operation but the terrorist had enough time before dying to pull the pin on a grenade or set off explosives and get the Marines who entered the room.

So a few of them bought 1 oz. deer slugs when they got rotated back home and loaded those up in their shotguns on their next deployment.

A 1 oz. deer slug hitting center of mass at no more than 10 yards is so traumatic that it shuts a human being off like a light.

There is nothing like the power of a 12 gauge scattergun at close range for ending threats.

With all of the stores telling me that they don’t want my business if I am armed, while at the same time doing nothing REAL to prevent shootings or crime, I appreciate Amazon more and more. I can buy almost anything without having to be near the proverbial watering hole.

When you get old, you learn that some things can wait to be fixed or bought. Unless is something major that requires immediate repair, I will shop online and wait for it. Even Home Depot and Lowes have a internet booth at their locations and rather than walking aimlessly up and down the aisle, I order online and go pick it up as soon as I get the notification that it is ready.

And I get to carry.

School districts in 11 Florida counties are open to training teachers to carry guns in schools as a defense tactic in case of shooting situations, according to an official with the state Department of Education.

Damien Kelly, director of the state Office of Safe Schools, told the Senate Education Committee on Monday that of the 36 school districts participating in a controversial school “guardian” program, 11 have indicated an interest in arming classroom teachers.

It is a beginning and proof that the original statement was always false.  The districts are rural which makes even bigger sense since help could be 20 to 40 minutes away.

Same as with Concealed Carry, more people will get in line when they realize the stories of teachers losing their minds and killing Little Johnny because he forgot to bring his homework do not happen. And God forbid a teacher does have to use a gun to save lives as the Antis would actually cry.

Ours is a battle of attrition, not a sprint.

It’s tough being a gun guy and watching Sci-Fi TV shows.

I can’t count how many shows that take place in the future, where somebody is armed with an FN P90.

Of course, the reason for that is the audience thinks:

“Check out that bad-ass with the futuristic-looking gun.  It’s like right out of HALO.”

I, on the other hand, think:

(In a mocking tone) “Look at me, standing on a hostile alien world, waiting to be some space bug’s lunch, and all I have to defend myself with is a glorified 22 WMR with shitty optics and reliability issues, and a magazine that has a tendency to spray its contents everywhere when it gets bumped.  Hooray.”

I’ve been tempted to put in my resume with Blue Horizon, and if I get a job with them, I think I will appoint myself company armorer for exoplanet exploration.

“Look, I’ve seen this movie and I know how it ends.  Spoilers, you might want to pack an M107A1 and a couple of Mk48’s.  You don’t have to listen to me.  I’m just the material scientist.  But if you don’t want your crew to have extraterrestrial ovipositors rammed into them like a gangbang orgy porno directed by HR Giger, you might want to arm up a little bit more.”
