I counted 8 magazine changes and dumps. Total rounds shot according to the report was 130. There is no way you are going to tell me they all (or most) the rounds landed on the perp. We do this kind of shooting, and our asses are in deep shit for being careless.

Venezuela: When Socialist clowns need to appear brave.

I keep track of some Venezuelan Media outlets just to see what kind of BS is floating around. I cracked a laugh when I saw this bit about weapons taken from a criminal gang which apparently was using them to protect illegal mining operations in the Southeast of the country:

Rust fest and blanks. Yup, I am convinced they saved countless lives while risking their own.

But wait, it gets better. This is a general in the Venezuelan Bolivarian Armed Forces:

I also have the feeling this one is not going to go boom.

There are a couple of sidearms in the display that may actually be working, but after seeing the rest of the display, I am would not be surprised if they belong to the military or local police and used to enhance the ridiculous display of rusty bullshit on parade.

Radios without antennas? They have the wrong mags with the wrong guns and have 7.62 Russian rounds with no AK visible, probably from a duty weapon. 

This is what happens when a country does not have a Gun Culture: They are lied to and promise they are better off because the Government which is shoving a boot up their asses, is “really” protecting them from “criminals” armed with such and impressive and dangerous “arsenal”.

What six years of politics has dine to me

Over the weekend there was a shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs.

Many TV talking heads have drawn parallels to the Pulse shooting.

I remember the Pulse shooting.

I remember that it was a radical Islamist who chose a soft target to create a hostage situation and demand the US military’s withdrawal from the Middle East.

I also remember how the pop culture immediately spun it into a story of a wgute Christian anti-LGBT bigot who was motivated by Trump to kill gays.

I documented this.

At the time I supported the idea of gun rights for the gay community and things like Operation Blazing Sword.

Six years later, watching armed Antifa defend drag shows for kids, the same politicians and talking heads spin the sane bullshit story, in this case a crazy guy with apparently no rational motive is a Right wing terrorist motivated by Trump returning to Twitter, and a narrative that if I disagree with child genital mutilation, I’m as “stochastic terrorist” abetting this attack; I have come to one conclusion, these people are my enemy and I to not care about what casualties happen to them.

There is no point in trying to explain things like how this guy pulled a felony bomb hoax, was arrested but not charged, which prevented him from becoming a prohibited person or being caught by Colorado’s red flag laws.  They will push for gun control regardless.

I supported the LGBT community having the right to self defense after Pulse and these people used that event to attack my values and my rights.

I have no common nationality with these people.

The philosophical balkanization is complete.

Fuck ’em.

Tuesday Tunes – Updated

I grew up a Navy Brat. I went to collage and found myself the only conservative within my social group. I remember attending a political rally where my date gushed about “She’s going to be the first female vice-president!”

My date and I stayed friends, but we were not in a relationship when I questioned her about what the candidates were actually saying.

Throughout my life the left has always told me how much they hate my country, how evil we are.

In 1971 soldiers coming home from Vietnam were calling my country evil and claiming that the military of my country was murdering women and children in Vietnam

I rode my bike over 500 miles the week after 9/11. The entire country felt silent. The flags had gone up on the over passes. The country came together.

Months later they were chanting “Bush lied! People died!” because they didn’t find WMDs in Iraq. As my mentor put it: Iraq is about the size of California, see if you can find a couple of 55gal drums that hold biological weapons. At some point my put together a more complete breakdown of WMDs in Iraq.

We have the wife of the President of the United States:

The left is only “proud” when they are in control. When they lose the threaten to leave. If you don’t vote for them it is the destruction of our democracy.

The right travels a different path. I grew up with “I disagree with you but will defend to the death your right to say it.” “My country, right or wrong.” “Our country is the best.” “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

I’m proud of my country, even with Biden as President. I’m proud of my country, even as Obama tours the world bowing to heads of state. I’m always proud of my country.

There are events I’m not proud of, there are people I’m not proud of, but my country I’m proud of.
