CNN paid the Dane Geld and then got attacked by the Dane

Remember this?

Look at all the goodwill that bought them.

Foot Locker donated $200 Million to Black Lives Matter in 2020 and they were still looted over the weekend.

Supporting the mob doesn’t protect you from their violence.  The mob will take your money and your support, then attack you, and mock you for you suffering.

In the words of Rudyard Kipling:

“We never pay anyone Dane-geld,
No matter how trifling the cost;
For the end of that game is oppression and shame,
And the nation that pays it is lost!”

CNN paid the Dane-geld.

This is how they will pass door-to-door gun confiscation

Miguel and I have both written about the HBO movie Conspiracy, about the 1942 Wannsee Conference in which the Nazis planned the final solution.

One of the most striking things about that movie, and the real Wannsee Conference, was just how important it was that everything was grounded in the law.

The conference was full of lawyers.

You’d think that Nazis could have just said “we’re in power, we can do everything we want.”  But they didn’t.  They based the final solution by building off established precedent of German race law.

I suspect this has something to do with the notion of boiling the frog.  That if a totalitarian just wiped away all of society’s old laws and did what he wanted, there would be popular backlash.  But if a totalitarian imposed his will using the old legal framework, people would be more accepting of that.

If Biden and the Progressives came out and said “the military and federal law enforcement are going to do what we say because they are ideologically aligned with us and you can’t stop them, so we’re going to take your guns away.”  There would be substantial backlash.

If Biden imposed this through the existing framework of the Constitution, I suspect there would be a lot less backlash as people just accept new law being made.

So given that, Biden has to eliminate the Supreme Court, so here comes court-packing, through the existing framework of the law.

The Democrats get to impose whatever they want like totalitarians but couched as being completely and utterly Constitutional so it doesn’t ruffle moderate feathers.

If Democrats decided to enact this and pack the court, I believe the final rubicon of this nation has been crossed, as America will become a one-party dictatorship.

Reasonable doubt has been established, Minneapolis will burn

https://twitter.com/Breaking911/status/1382352842019733506

That’s reasonable doubt from the mouth of an expert.

I don’t see how a jury not intimidated by the mob could vote to convict.

If the jurors adhere to their ethical duty to only consider the facts of the trial, Chauvin will probably walk.

Then Minneapolis will burn in a pyre of media and politician fueled aggrievement and hate that will be visible from space.

Second Shot In.

Let’s see if I grow a third arm…which would not be so bad for reloads but sucks about getting shirts.

Stuff you see at the local Publix. Nicotine gum, gefilte fish and weird beer on the discount bin.

And then I tried to pick up this chick, but she threatened me with serious pain if I did not behave and reminded me that she knows all my weak spots after more than 3 decades of observation.

So I shut up, gave her my  money and went home. 🙂

My two cents on the Daunte Wright shooting

I’m not a cop.

I don’t pretend to be a cop.

I have never been in a life and death situation close to a traffic stop gone bad.

I have shot a lot of USPSA and IDPA and I know that it doesn’t matter how many times I walk through a stage and figure out the course of fire in my head when that shot timer goes beep, my mind goes blank faster than an Etch-a-Sketch held by Michael J. Fox.

I still make the mistake of looking over the sights instead of through them out of the draw and have to remind myself to put the front sight back on target.

And that is just a competition I do for fun.

So how does a cop grab a Glock 17 instead of a Taser?

Because 26 years of muscle memory has her go for her strong side pistol instead of her cross side Taser when the shit hits the fan.

I’m not excusing what she did at all.

If anything, this proves the need for much more training for officers.

What I am certain of is that this article could only be written by someone who has never drawn from the holster under any sort of stress whatsoever.
