We might have hit peak DeSantis Derangement Syndrome.
I know that seems like a reach, but I don’t know how it gets any crazier than this.
13-year-old son of Rebekah Jones, whistleblower who clashed with DeSantis, arrested over memes https://t.co/gQqCP76k6u

And this is what Rebekah Jones herself had to say:
DeSantis tried to destroy my reputation, undermine my credentials and work, intimidate me by ordering an armed raid on my home, silence me by jailing me, and threaten me with prison for refusing to drop my whistleblower case. He failed every time.
It's been three weeks since we…

What a fascist DeSantis must be, to target the child of a political opponent.
Except…
Former congressional candidate Rebekah Jones’ son arrested in Santa Rosa County
The teenage son of former congressional candidate Rebekah Jones is facing charges in Santa Rosa County.
The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office says 13-year-old Jackson Jones was arrested on Wednesday for intimidation, a second degree felony.
Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson spoke with WEAR News Thursday about the incident.
“Basically one of the kids in school was on Snapchat, got a Snapchat from this individual that basically said something along the lines ‘I’m feeling silly today I think I may shoot up a bunch of people in a building’ and then she showed that to a resource officer who then got in touch with a resource officer at Holley-Navarre Middle School where this gentleman used to attend ,and then we took it through the process,” Sheriff Johnson said.
Deputies in a report state they observed a screenshot of a Snapchat from Jackson Jones from March 5, showing a picture of a young boy holding a juice box with the text, “I’m feeling so silly I might shoot up a building full of people.”
A search warrant of Jackson’s Snapchat was conducted, where a report states that the Snapchats shown to them by students did come from his account.
A search warrant also recovered messages sent from the account on Feb. 9 and 12 that said:
-
- “I want to shoot up the school”
- “If I get a gun I’m gonna shoot up hnms lol”
- “I always keep a knife on me so maybe I’ll just stab ppl idk”
- “Nah if I do kill people I’ll just kill myself”
Based on the texts, a warrant was made for Jackson’s arrest.
So her son made multiple threats of violence against a school on the internet.
In the wake of a very high-profile school shooting in Nashville, they want us to be mad at Gov DeSantis for the local Sheriff taking a threat of a school shooting seriously enough to try and prevent it?
Jones proclaims herself to be the victim here. Shouldn’t she be the villain for raising a kid that makes threats like that and not knowing what he’s getting into online?
The media can try and piss on my head and tell me it’s raining buy I won’t let them try and get away with telling me that preventing a potential school shooter makes DeSantis a fascist.
Ahhh, the Miami Herald never fails to bring the absurd.
Liberals are never gonna blame the actual cause of their stupidity…. Karma baby..
Isn’t she the one that deliberately and knowingly altered the data to make DeSantis look bad? Then she was caught.
But, in her world, she was the victim of DeSantis? He “destroyed” her family?
.
Typical toddler. Never their fault. Never contribute to their problems.
