Last night, while 2/3 of the humanity was engaged with Game of Thrones,  I had some fun trolling the living lights out of defenders of the Bolivarian-Chavista Revolution both here in the US and abroad. As with the rest of the Left, there were no problems in this world till Trump got elected, and only then things went bad in Venezuela. I was accused to be one of Venezuela’s Ultra Rich that escaped (I guess they think I am  now residing comfortably in some multi-million dollar fully paid condo high above in the Miami skyline) and that I am all for the US invading Venezuela to depose Maduro.

They were rather surprised when I told them I did not support an invasion of Venezuela, that is the people there were not willing to risk their lives to liberate their country, why should Americans be put at risk? A couple of people that were only tuned at the No Invasion singsong were in a conundrum: Here is a guy who openly hates the Maduro regime so he is an enemy, but does not want an invasion so he is friend?

The survivor of the exchange went with the belief that if I hate Maduro, I had to be for the Opposition and attacked.  Of course, he was also confused when I told him that in my opinion, Chavistas Leaders and Opposition politicians should share the same firing squad. After some fits and false starts, the theme was now changed to be being in favor of mass executions and Genocide. Never forget that without moving goalposts, the left cannot maintain an argument for long. I did reply that you could keep the executions well under a hundred and the rest of the assholes would take the hint and shape up or flee the country. What was not appreciated was me reminding them that this strategy was well used by Fidel Castro and Che Guevara after the Cuban Revolution. I did have to admit that I had forgotten about the Colectivo goons and that would increase the amount of assholes that needed to be put down.

After that, the lonely fighter reached for some out of content quotes, proclaimed I was a liar and flaunted his sorry butt behind a block. It was fun! I admit he put a brave effort, but the truth is a couple of slogans from a Lefty Gringo and some Latino living the life in the US are not good enough to put lipstick in the crap hole that is Venezuela thanks to both Government and Opposition.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

  1. “…put lipstick in the crap hole…”

That … was an image I did not need pre-coffee. I’m sure if I googled it I would find something not suitable for work.

I also visited the San Francisco Bay Area this past weekend so the imagery of a beautiful skyline combined with shoddy streets is somewhat poignant.
