ASTOR, Fla. (WSVN) — A Florida deputy fatally shot an alligator with an AR-15 rifle after the reptile trapped a teenage girl in a tree.
According to a sheriff’s report obtained by the Orlando Sentinel, Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputy Mitch Blackmon was called to the scene after family members called 911 to describe how 15-year-old Jordan Broderick was trapped in a tree by a large gator for over 30 minutes.

Kidding aside, I understand maybe why they waited: Florida Fish and Wildlife will side with the gators if you even look cross-eyed at one. Shooting and killing one? You are better off killing humans.
I made this meme some time ago. It has been proven right.
Miguel, please. The preferred term is Crocodilian-American. Only they can call each other “croc” or “gator.”

So, once that officer got finished, was that another case of
a-reptile dysfunction?
(Thank you, I’m here all week. Try the veal!)
Baaboom tss!
LOL
So, who wants to bet that this incident turns that family ‘pro gun’?
Used to see gators in the very low branches along Wachulla springs. They can usually climb something 2/3s their body length in height.
And that makes the case for 30 round magazines… and 100 round drums
