6. I’ve said this elsewhere, and I’ll say it here. The left is going way too far, way too fast. They will do damage for sure, but the blacklisting of everything conservative is going to backfire. It’s hard for me to think about what big tech is doing right now as anything other than suicide. They don’t realize it yet, but the harder big tech pushes this, the more obsolete they are going to become. There are always going to be ways around their censorship. You can’t stop the signal.

   1. Well, the saying is indeed “you can’t stop the signal” and also (ESR) “the Internet considers censorship a network failure and routes around it”. But in reality, a sufficiently oppressive government can and does stop the signal effectively. Not 100% but close enough to be very significant. Look at China, that’s exactly what they have done.
      Google and friends are clearly contemplating doing the same thing here.

7. They say what you right in your posts you own yet when someone blocks you or unfriends you, you have no visibility into past interactions with that person….

   They dont give a shit, I got zucked in like 2012 and cited California statute proving them wrong and they still banned me for a week.
