Before a book is published and released to the public, it’s passed through the hands (and eyes) of many people: an author’s friends and family, an agent and, of course, an editor.
These days, though, a book may get an additional check from an unusual source: a sensitivity reader, a person who, for a nominal fee, will scan the book for racist, sexist or otherwise offensive content. These readers give feedback based on self-ascribed areas of expertise such as “dealing with terminal illness,” “racial dynamics in Muslim communities within families” or “transgender issues.”

Imagine the many centuries where Censorship boards and individual existed and they were all working for the Government. But now, somebody has managed to get books censored via the Private Sector while making a buck!
C’mon, you have to admit it: It is a stroke of genius. I can imagine the resume being transcripts of Twitter posts with the according SJW hashtags. If you are gonna get easily pissed by what somebody wrote, might as well fatten up your bank account.
Genius!

^^^^ So approved, it ain’t funny
…and somewhere out there, John Ringo’s antennae start tingling…
I would submit my book for censoring, then do the book tour dressed at Catlyn Jenner, in black face, wearing an Indian head dress, shaking mexican maracas.
Don’t forget your “Occupied Palestine” keffiyeh and ham-and-cheese sandwich!
Gonna be a lot more self-published books out there.
