Two gunmen have opened fire at a school in south-eastern Brazil, killing at least six students and two employees, officials say.
The shooting happened at about 09:30 local time (12:30 GMT) when the students were on a break at the state school in Suzano, near São Paulo.
The gunmen, who were wearing masks, killed themselves after the attack, police say.
While gun crime is common in Brazil, shootings of this nature are not.
Brazil school shooting: Deadly attack in São Paulo
Nothing on the weapons yet, but I am willing to bet they used sidearms. And as for shootings of this nature not being common, I covered a massacre in a cathedral with 5 dead (asshole not included) used a semi and a revolver and another school shooting in Rio de Janeiro that left 12 kids dead, the shooter used revolvers and the cops were a block and a half away.
Never forget that if a mass shooting happens in a favela, Brazilian News won’t even blink as they are so common like weekend shooting in Chicago or St. Louis.
