They just do it in Twitter rather than risk loss of teeth by doing it in person. The old farts will remember the sheer hate the Liberal/Progressives had for our Military during Vietnam. And one of the subsets of that hate was the Narrative that every Vietnam vet was a murdering psychopath waiting to explode. Every TV show of the time had at least a couple of shows a year showing crazy veterans snipping civilians or placing bombs all over. Eventually as the country made peace with the war and recognized the effort of the Vietnam vets, the shitting on soldiers became less acceptable to the masses and the Liberals had to store their hate for the Military.

But if given a chance, it pops back out again with all its might: Combat Veterans are just bloodthirsty baby killers and you are going to put them guarding children! Oh my God!

If you keep asking why the Democrats want to give billions to the illegal aliens and zero to our Veterans, that is the answer right there: They hate veterans with all their might.

  1. You are correct, the Dems hate veterans and love illegals. Provide free everything for illegals and shit on veterans

  2. This train of thought should work well for our Lib “friends”. Oh please Mr. Soldier, protect me from those terrorists, now go back into your cell and stay until I need you again.

    1. I WENT into a public ‘ouse to get a pint o’ beer,
      The publican ‘e up an’ sez, ” We serve no red-coats here.”
      The girls be’ind the bar they laughed an’ giggled fit to die,
      I outs into the street again an’ to myself sez I:
      O it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an’ ” Tommy, go away ” ;
      But it’s ” Thank you, Mister Atkins,” when the band begins to play
      The band begins to play, my boys, the band begins to play,
      O it’s ” Thank you, Mister Atkins,” when the band begins to play.

      I went into a theatre as sober as could be,
      They gave a drunk civilian room, but ‘adn’t none for me;
      They sent me to the gallery or round the music-‘alls,
      But when it comes to fightin’, Lord! they’ll shove me in the stalls!
      For it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an’ ” Tommy, wait outside “;
      But it’s ” Special train for Atkins ” when the trooper’s on the tide
      The troopship’s on the tide, my boys, the troopship’s on the tide,
      O it’s ” Special train for Atkins ” when the trooper’s on the tide.

      Yes, makin’ mock o’ uniforms that guard you while you sleep
      Is cheaper than them uniforms, an’ they’re starvation cheap.
      An’ hustlin’ drunken soldiers when they’re goin’ large a bit
      Is five times better business than paradin’ in full kit.
      Then it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an` Tommy, ‘ow’s yer soul? ”
      But it’s ” Thin red line of ‘eroes ” when the drums begin to roll
      The drums begin to roll, my boys, the drums begin to roll,
      O it’s ” Thin red line of ‘eroes, ” when the drums begin to roll.

      We aren’t no thin red ‘eroes, nor we aren’t no blackguards too,
      But single men in barricks, most remarkable like you;
      An’ if sometimes our conduck isn’t all your fancy paints,
      Why, single men in barricks don’t grow into plaster saints;
      While it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an` Tommy, fall be’ind,”
      But it’s ” Please to walk in front, sir,” when there’s trouble in the wind
      There’s trouble in the wind, my boys, there’s trouble in the wind,
      O it’s ” Please to walk in front, sir,” when there’s trouble in the wind.

      You talk o’ better food for us, an’ schools, an’ fires, an’ all:
      We’ll wait for extry rations if you treat us rational.
      Don’t mess about the cook-room slops, but prove it to our face
      The Widow’s Uniform is not the soldier-man’s disgrace.
      For it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an` Chuck him out, the brute! ”
      But it’s ” Saviour of ‘is country ” when the guns begin to shoot;
      An’ it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an’ anything you please;
      An ‘Tommy ain’t a bloomin’ fool – you bet that Tommy sees!

      Tommy by Kipling

      1. thanks for the Kipling, Joe! I’ve often heard the last stanza, but not the whole poem. It is awesome, and relevant, for our times.

  3. Boy howdy, if they knew how many veterans I know (even a few disabled ones) who work in the gun industry, they’d lose their minds (more than they already have).

  4. Maybe I’m not getting this:
    (A) is a veteran
    Therefore, (A) is a crazy baby killer, and has PTSD, and has no internal controls on his/her impulses
    So, therefore, it is clever, on my (the snowflake) part, to irritate and anger folks who (in my opinion) have no self control, because……

    because…..

    Huh?

    1. It’s the same kind of “reasoning” that makes them accused armed people of every crime imaginable, and especially of wanting to kill all lefties. Which of course is provably false by examination, since they are still alive.

    2. The Left treats veterans this way for the same reason they treat Christians and gun owners this way. They know those groups won’t get violent and fight back. Lefties are cowards.

  5. Because someone who joins the military is crazy, but a man who pays a doctor to cut off his penis because he believes himself to be a woman is perfectly sane, brave, and to be admired.
