Since I discovered this album, it has been in top 5 must listen at least once a month. From vinyl and cassette to CD to MP4 and Streaming it has been 40+ years .

I used to find that one (and other parts of the Bach flute sonatas) serenity-inducing to play, as well, although I never played them as well as he does (or as Rampal did….)
Jean-Pierre Rampal, I had not heard that name in a while. He indeed was a great flutist
