Charlo Greene, on behalf of WOWK and the free press, prepared a petition to intervene for the gag order hearing but before Charlo could present her argument or even deliver her petition to the court clerk, she was thrown out of the Logan County Courthouse, twice, by a bailiff, who said the judge presiding over Jared’s case, Eric O’Briant requested it. Charlo was then threatened with arrest and the same charge that Jared is currently on trial for, obstructing an officer.

I think it is now official for the Press: You don’t count for squat and you will be thrown under the bus on demand if you do not behave like the subservient serfs you are supposed to be. And the kid will be railroaded comes hell or high water unless he gets a half-assed jury that finds the prosecutor guilty of being a jackass and taken out of town ridding a jackass backwards.

  1. Ordinarily I wouldn’t be for acting quite this impulsively, but…

I think Miss Greene should be filing a lawsuit against that bailiff for touching her stuff. At very least. There are signs of obvious corruption in this particular court system. They aren’t going to uphold the law, they’re going to crucify this kid and try to make an example of him.

How much further can they push before we aren’t the bad guys for fighting back?

  2. Isn’t this a Juvenile Court case?

They do not use juries because that would be “unfair” to the juveniles. Something about protecting the juvenile’s rights by giving God like powers to an unaccountable judge that is usually too incompetent to serve as a real judge in criminal or civil courts.

Thank God me and mine were never tangled up in that mess. Too many friends were, to their detriment.

  3. The people need to clean house. If that means tar, feathers and short pieces of rope, so be it.

    1. There’s a noose that hangs at the entrance to the city. It’s a message to be read by all who encounter it.

  4. I think one of the things that this reporter needs to focus on is the use of “obstruction” as a law enforcement catch-all charge that any LEO can abuse. It’s the legal equivalent of “respect my authority!”

    1. “Contempt of cop” is not actually a felony, but police across the country seem to act like it is anyway.

  5. The only lesson I take from this is that the government is corrupt beyond repair, and not to be trusted. Reject it. Prepare for war with it. It is preparing for war with us.

  6. First, I am delighted that Jared Markum, backed up by his awesome dad, has been vindicated. Way to go, Jared! As for the cops in general thinking we should just bow and scrape in their presence — this is why I do not in fact respect cops in general today, even though I was brought up to respect them. I despise all tyrants and their operatives, because I am a true American. If cops stopped all their militarized us-against-them, the civilian as enemy crap, then my attitude would change back to respect. The signs in this country are that the people who think they are charge, both from the wacky Dick Cheney right-wing or the wacky Obama Marxist left wing, think they can stomp people down by encouraging this kind of outrage. Think again, you morons. Your power ultimately resides in the people’s consent, and every incident of police misconduct and prosecutorial overreach just causes more hatred for your tyranny to rise up in more and more Americans.
