It has been a deadly start to September in Chicago, with at least 13 people fatally shot over 36 hours across the city this week.Nine of those killings occurred on Wednesday, including the apparent accidental shooting death of an 11-year-old boy. That appears to be the deadliest day in Chicago since July 5, 2003, when there were 10 homicides, according to a Tribune analysis of records kept by the Chicago Police Department.

To begin with, it is Chicago, the crowning jewel of Gun Control. And next most of the victims are probably minorities. Â Shannon Watts would cringe at the thought of having to mingle with them for other than have their landscaping done and in the quickest manner possible.

Those are not “mass killings” ’cause it’s not the same person doing all of them.
But then just how much difference is there between “mass killing” and “massive killings”?
As far as I can figure it out, Moms are not weighing in on stuff like this because there are too many guns involved for them to be able to pick one out to blame. (Writing that made my head hurt, because logic tells us that Moms should be reveling [that’s one step up from dancing] in the blood of all those victims since they have arsenals of guns to blame.)
