They are not accustomed at being challenged. And sure as hell they are not used to being told they are on the side of evil. I wonder if they are finally grasping that their intended target no longer trusts them and sure as hell do not respect them. Then again, they have the credibility of the Mumbai Phone Farms that call you wanting to talk about your extended car warranty or how to increase your Medicare Benefits according to your zip code/.
Poor baby. Welcome to Realsville asshat. We all know where sympathy is in the dictionary…
A child has to arm themselves with a rifle to go to a blm “protest” in Kenosha but can walk about Ottawa at the truckers protest unarmed and probably unaccompanied
And will be welcomed, given a cup of something warm to drink, and probably fed, too…
This is what happens when a party that’s supposed to be objective and neutral, chooses sides.
Note the beginning of the video was cut off, unsurprisingly. So the ‘journalist’ went there to try and inflame people to make threatening comments against the gov;t and it got turned around on him. Poor baby.
I’m missing something here. I’m guessing that the people with that man was speaking are reporters? I could not understand what that person was saying/asking. I could not fathom what danger that man’s children might be in.
Sorry, eh?

CBC is the goverment-owned broadcaster, right?
The reporter was working on a story about how the trucker convoy has children inside some of the trucks, and this is placing the kids in danger. The reporter asked the men in the video how they felt about this, and one of them took that as a threat to his kids, so this was how he replied. Here is a quote from the article:
Ottawa police say almost 25 per cent of the 418 trucks still involved in the ongoing demonstration downtown have children in them, which has hampered the force’s response and led to concerns about the children’s safety.

@Divemedic: Thank you for the backstory.
The implication that the police would have swarmed in if not for the children is frightening.
It’s the extreme sort of out-of-touchedness one gets from people who think they’re totally hip to the scene, but aren’t.
