I think we can agree that anybody wearing hoodie and mask is to be watched as a potentially dangerous suspect. And a pack of three?

3 sought in armed carjacking of man in his own driveway in New Orleans East
NEW ORLEANS —
The New Orleans Police Department is investigating after a man was held at gunpoint in a carjacking in his driveway.
The NOPD is searching for three people in the investigation of an armed robbery on Wednesday in the 13000 block of Willowbrook Drive.
And I believe the homeowner’s internal alarms were already triggered. And probably a lack of proper plan had him doubting on what to do. Next thing he knows, he is looking at the wrong end of guns.

If you gonna be dumb you gotta be tough…. Situational awareness! Duh.
Honestly I think you’re fuckex either way here. He saw them and even if he cleared leather behind the truck and was ready to put rounds down range, you are now in a gun fight with three dudes, one armed with an ak pistol, now shooting into your house and whoever is in it as a backstop.
@Lenard: I’m guessing that the keys were in the house.
Perhaps he could have managed to get in behind some cover and turned the tables.
I agree that it would not be wise to draw against 3 guns in hand in a neighborhood.
Or simply run in the house, lock the door and prepare to repeal boarders while on the phone with 911.
