I am guessing the Bloomberg Merit Badge did not work as advertised.

Taxpayers will probably now have to foot the bill of protection for the mayor… correction ARMED protection for the mayor.

PS: The car was recovered several miles from the location. I mean, even carjackers have standards.

  1. Don’t worry, he’ll soon come out an blame all of the rest of us that DIDN’T perpetrate the crime, for his victimhood.

And yeah, he’ll now want 24/7 ARMED security. Because he’s SPECIAL.

    1. Because he knows his police chief dont harass the Mexicans, so they can give him “information”. Lets see how productive that is.

    1. I wonder if that surplus of millions of dollars that are left over are going to be applied to “special” protective details by TPD to protect the non productive politician. Oh, I was told there are no Police resources to protect me, so, I am sure this would apply to him. Yes?

  2. Glad he didn’t get hurt or killed. He’s lucky he didn’t get pistol-whipped for having a “Pious”. At least the carjacker didn’t emit much CO2 during his rampage.

  3. Off topic, but allied with Arizona, and this is for those residents.

    “RTS Alert
HCR 2029 is scheduled for a House Appropriations Committee hearing on Wednesday, February 22. Please log into your RTS accounts (Request To Speak) and urge the committee members to vote for the passage of HCR 2029. Click http://azcdl.org/RTS_User_Instructions2017b.pdf for instructions on using RTS. If you need assistance in setting up an RTS account, please contact Fred at treasurer@azcdl.org.

HCR 2029 is a proposed constitutional amendment that would require ballot measure petitions to have a specific percentage of signatures from each legislative district in the state. Current petition requirements are based simply on the state population regardless of location, making it possible for districts with large urban populations to override the will of voters in less populated districts. As the saying goes, ‘Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.’ That’s the effect of Arizona’s current ballot petitioning requirements.”

I believe this is to prevent Bloomberg’s zombies from getting enough petitions for background checks, etc. signed in just the liberal Metro areas.

The AZCDL will set you up for a RTS account, and once you are on it, all you have to do is sign in, check the thumbs up/down and say “no” that you don’t want to speak – unless you plan to show up and make a statement. It takes less than two minutes. It’s more effective than emails, but I usually use that medium as well.
