I thought it was a requirement to be an oppressive, anti-Semitic 3rd world craphole to be on the UN Human Rights Council.

The Human Rights Council is the UN equivalent to the Nobel Peace Prize.
This so-called “human rights” council is a farse, and the U.N. is a toothless tiger. A failed experiment that should be put out of our misery.
Look at the roll-call of their 2020-2022 term and wonder:
* Libya
* Mauritania
* Sudan
* Namibia
* Indonesia
* Japan
* Marshall Islands
* South Korea
* Armenia
* Poland
* Brazil
* Venezuela
* Germany
* Netherlands
They might as well replace Japan, S. Korea, Poland, Germany & Netherlands with Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and N. Korea. Why not have a barrel full of bad, amirite? SMDH
