It started with CNN this morning.
– He's an environmental hero
– He was a socialist before it was cool
– He never let a political disagreement turn nasty
Many Americans have turned MLK into a safe holiday mascot, but some say King still speaks in ways that go beyond civil rights https://t.co/zMBtSBfPIm pic.twitter.com/Y8gl4Kx7lP

Excuse me CNN, but “he was a socialist before it was cool” is a fucking awful sentiment. I know that socialism is hip among the privileged Left in America, but in reality socialism isn’t cool. It end up with people eating from garbage dumps and beating livestock to death with rocks like a scene from a zombie apocalypse movie.
Righteous voices on the internet had none of CNN’s bullshit.
news organization wrongly stating MLK was a socialist. millions who died under socialism would prob disagree with @CNN's statement it's "cool" https://t.co/mFx1SjB0SS

Enter professor Anthony Zenkus of the Columbia School of Social Work.
Odd how you forget the millions who died under #capitalism. The two world wars, centuries of slavery and the genocide of native americans. Bet they didn't think that was cool either. https://t.co/8Fr4WYA7vD

This is going full fucking retard.
The cause(s) of WWI is/are difficult to understand. Ask ten different history experts and you get ten different answers. What is clear is that there were several factors that contributed to the war such as a series of interconnecting alliances, a really nasty game of family feud between the last remaining monarchs of major European states, ethno-nationalism of various groups under the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The one thing everyone can agree on was that it was kicked off by the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary by a Serbian national.
Nowhere in any of that was “capitalism” listed as a cause.
WWII is a little easier to explain. An economically depressed Germany was taken over by a tyrant named Adolf Hitler. Hitler believed in Nationalsozialismus or National Socialism. The political party he lead was called the NAZI party, which is an acronym for Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, translated to English as National-Socialist German Workers’ Party. Hitler invaded Germany’s neighbors because he wanted lebensraum or “living space.” Then he invaded Russia, mostly for their Oil. It all went down hill after that.
Hitler was a socialist. He believed in national socialism, really wasn’t all that much different from Stalin’s Socialism in One Country idea. The only ideological difference between Hitler and Stalin was who was going to be in charge.
Again, nowhere in any historically accurate understanding of events was capitalism a factor.
Then it gets worse.
Hitler was a capitalist. Good friends with Henry Ford. Please, use the Google machine. It's there for all of us. https://t.co/sL3PqlyM4l

Hitler was a socialist. That’s what he called his party. Hitler liked Henry Ford because Ford published a book called The International Jew which Hitler loved. They bonded over mutual hatred of the Jews, not capitalism.
But this is what this sick fuck believes about world history.
His anti-capitalist, pro-socialist bullshit is the core of his existence.
He gave a TEDx talk about it.
His thesis in a nutshell: capitalism hurts children.
This comes from some research that shows that growing up poor has a negative effect on brain development.
He makes a very clear case staring at 9:31 that he believes wealth needs to be taken from the rich and given to the poor until everybody has a “middle class” standard of living, in a radical wealth redistribution scheme. His justification is that above “middle class” there is no amount of money that improves childhood development, so the rich don’t need anything above “middle class” and that should go to the poor.
Of course what will really happen is that we all end up eating out of garbage dumps and killing our neighbors’ dogs for food, but never mind that.
The problem is that America has a “compassion shortage,” which is odd because his form of compassion has lead to food shortages elsewhere in the world.
Then he jumps over to a story about how David Bowie helped bring down the Berlin Wall. Youths in East Germany rioted when they heard David Bowie blasting music over the Berlin Wall from a concert in West Germany.
That East Germany was the anti-capitalist, socialist Germany and West Germany was the free, capitalist society blows right by him. The riot was by the starving, oppressed people in the socialist country wanting what they heard in the capitalist country, not the other way around.
Nobody from West Germany risked getting shot in the back to hop over the wall to East Germany saying “I got to get me some of that Soviet lifestyle.” Nobody risks their life on a homemade raft to float from Miami to Cuba. The guy undoes his entire thesis with his anecdote and is too much of a true believer fuck-wit to get it.
And this fuck-wit teaches college.
Basic facts are outside the realm of his grasp. What would happen if you gave every American a basic living wage of $48K per year? Well, $48K per year would suddenly be worthless as (hyper) inflation caught up with us as – I guarantee – at least one quarter (if not more) of the population said “now that I have a living wage, I’m not going to work anymore.”
This idiot professor retweeted this like it was some kind of wisdom.

Except that wealth is not exclusionary. When one person gets a raise, somebody else doesn’t get a pay cut accordingly.
And he teaches this to college students.
I’m all for free speech, but at some point we need to draw a line in the sand and say a public university can’t hire people into a classroom that doesn’t teach basic objective facts, like, say, Hitler was a capitalist.
I don’t believe that freedom of speech protects someone with no medical education to walk into a classroom and teach med students that they don’t have to scrub up before surgery because the power of positive thinking will protect patients.
What do we do about it?
Funny how the left never mentions that MLK was a member of the NRA.
44 million people in poverty-THANK YOU OBAMA AND ALL THE D MOCRATS AND THIER D MOCRAT POLICES THAT HELP NO ONE. How do we stop it? Stop sending kids to leftist schools send them to Hillsdale ….. teach them at home
How many of the 44-million are recent immigrants who haven’t assimilated in the mainstream economy? How many individuals will remain in poverty for generations? Part of the miracle of American capitalism is that, on average, the poor move into the middle class quicker than any other system. Some individuals will remain in poverty, some will become rich, but on average the best thing for poor people is to be born in the United State, the next best is to get here as fast as possible.
The answer to the previous two comments: that’s a feature, not a bug, in the left’s view. Having more people here who are dependent on government handouts helps their lust for power. Having people who can make their own way hurts them, because those people don’t support left wing policies.
This is why they want chain migration so much that they don’t even want to use the word. This is why they hate the idea of merit based immigration.

The Tweetwit
@TheTweetwit
Donald Trump called Haiti and African states “shithole countries.”
What do you call a country where 44 million people live in poverty?
We call it America.#SundayMorning”
EXCEPT THAT, to be in poverty, in America, means that you live in a statistical ly significantly larger domicile than the average middle class European, are statistically significantly (henceforth, SS) more likely to own a car, are SS more likely to own >1television, are SS more likely to have air conditioning, than the average middle class European.
Etcetera.
Dinesh D’Souza tells of a friend back in India, who wanted to see America. D’Souza agreed, “everybody ought to visit America. What’s your reason?”
Friend said, “I want to see a place where the poor people are fat.”
Yep, America is a shithole. So, keep your shithole hating ass, O-U-T. Vaya con Greyhound, M@@@@R- F@@@@R.
I would venture that this Oh So Woke Socialist gets a pretty good paycheck from his university. I would also venture that he lives in a pretty nice place that cost a lot of money, wears clothes that cost a lot of money, has expensive Apple Products, eats expensive food from exclusive stores or restaurants, and generally lives the Bourgeois lifestyle, meaning he spends a whole lot of money on himself.
Typical.
