Welcome to Progressive London.
Holy shit, that guy is just beating on a shop window with a hammer in broad daylight. The police are nowhere to be found. The citizenry is just taking pictures and asking him politely to stop.
They know they can’t do anything to stop him because it is more illegal for them to use force than it is for this guy to violently break his way into a shop and threaten innocent people.
I know the Europeans and American Leftists love to say that we in flyover land are a bunch of knuckle-dragging savages but this doesn’t happen in Alabama, or Texas because trying to smash into a jewelry store and threaten bystanders with a hammer is a good way to get ballistically ventilated.
Coincidentally, it’s also those same Progressive places that people routinely shit on the streets. Just saying.
The Metropolitan Police later said that a man was arrested on Saturday Morning before being charged on Sunday.
A spokesman said: ‘Nathan Thamby, 30, of no fixed address was charged on Sunday, 23 September with aggravated burglary, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a knife and assaulting an emergency worker.
‘He was further charged in connection with another burglary. He is due to appear Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 23 September.
‘He was further charged in connection with another burglary.’
Ah yes, a vagrant in a progressive city who has been taught that the law does not apply to him and he can do whatever he wants.
I guarantee that he will be let out of prison in a very short time if he is even sent to prison at all.
This is the same thing that has happened in San Francisco which is why they have more than 30,000 car break-ins in a year.
As Progressive America goes the way of tolerating lawlessness, disarming the citizenry, and emasculating the police, we will see more and more of this brazen crime.
Oregon case law and Portland’s massive homelessness problem, has left the city with one of the country’s worst car theft rates. It’s so bad that even left-of-the-far-left alt papers like Willamette Week have reported on it.

Well, I suppose this is one path that gets us to the every-car-is-community-property state of affairs one of the clown car candidates (C^3) was talking about.
