  1. So true, the US trained, equipped and recruited the Taliban back in the 80’s and now is still training, equipping and recruiting them through financing the Pakistani ISI. Plus the generous donations of arms and military equipment as well as fortified bases and outposts left behind in Afghanistan.

    1. I don’t think that’s right. What the US equipped back in the 1980s isn’t the Taliban.
The Taliban was founded and supported by the Pakistani military and intelligence apparatus. They continued to offer it safe haven in the past 20 years. And the Pakistani prime minister made a public congratulatory statement on the Taliban conquest of Afghanistan.
Pakistan needs to be treated as the enemy nation it is and has been for decades. No money or any other assistance should go there under any pretense whatsoever, not until major regime change has occurred.
It boggles the mind that the Taliban winter quarters didn’t receive a couple of MOABs. That would have been the right thing to do and would have avoided a great deal of harm.

      1. Yes it is, that’s what they turned into and are still benefiting from that assistance. Pakistani intelligence wouldn’t exist without the funding etc. they receive from USA. Basically American soldiers in Afghanistan were fighting and getting killed by insurgents financed by the USA.

  2. Was it only last week that you all were posting about how the Left was playing the humiliation game with the truth, and wanting to force people to admit to lies as a power game?
Notice that the truth will often kick back, and hard.
