Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.
Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

No such thing as too much gun, unless you want to save some meat. However, that could damage the cinder block, your choice.
Never mind the caliber; what load are you using? Bugshot? Napalm? Perhaps there’s a market here for a new specialty load! Hmmm, .22LR short-range incendiary: like the mini-shotshell rounds, but filled with perhaps triethylaluminum instead of lead.
… No, I don’t have any sharp objects handy, why do you ask?
CCI has some really neat pistol caliber shot shells.
I have some here; haven’t tried ’em yet.
sota – I’ve shot a few of them shot shells – they work really well. One example – .38 out of 2″ snubbie at a 1 gallon cardboard milk jug full of water. Corner shot split it all the way up and down as well as to the side corners and pushed it about 3 feet off the table. It “might” work on that bug.
Yup. CCI .22 shot shell fired from a Mini Revolver is pretty entertaining. Produces a pattern of tiny holes about 3 feet diameter at 8 feet range… Just powerful enough to (mostly) penetrate the side of a cardboard box.
That’s a house centipede. Those are harmless. If it were a spider, I’d say be better be loaded with magnums.
We have a critter up here looks like that and if it gets on ya it will burn/sting the crap outta you so I say never too much gun heh heh
Not enough caliber, in my opinion…
Those are some creepy bugs. Generally I am not freaked out by bugs, but those million leg ones just give me the heebie-jeebies.
I am thinking a Barrett 99 chambered in .50BMG is probably about right, potentially a 10 gauge slug if you prefer not to waste a long range rifle on a close in target.
That’s a bug?!
I thought it was the result of an overzealous eyebrow waxing!
Not enough rounds.
(Number of Legs) * 0.11 = minimum imperial caliber, rounding up or down to the nearest available cartridge.
A classic example of POA v POI.
Just sayin you might want to lower that muzzle a schoche…
With *that* many legs?
I say double it.
Why waste ammo? Kill it with fire!

😉
12 gage: minimum.
2 bore stopping rifle: better.
Flame thrower: optimum.
