It is fixed! Amazingly I had proper ratchet socket (Or close enough, this kit was not 8mm) and even though the space was rather constricted, I managed to put things back together in 10 minutes… and did not even bleed for once.
To everybody that helped with advice, my profound thanks.
If you did not bleed and/or make the minimum three trips to the parts store, then it’s obviously not fixed.
Sure it might WORK, and keep working forever, but it’s not FIXED.
Past trips from other projects do not roll over?
It’s not a “project” until you draw blood.
I remember working on my first car, out in the yard, head and shoulders buried under the hood. I barked a knuckle and let out a creative and vociferous stream of profanity that would make a sailor blush. When I came up for air, there was the neighbor’s ten year old boy staring at me with eyes as big as saucers. Nothing was spoken, but I imagine an interesting conversation when mom and dad asked the inevitable “where is you learn THOSE words?”
