and in another couple of places like Facebook, I imagined there would be a response. I was actually floored at the amazing results.

The goal was reached within 24 hours and is still going as it should. I know Dan was reluctant to ask for help and the number probably reflects the bare he thinks could ask without feeling he is abusing people’s trust and goodness.  He is silly good that way.

But kids change the equation too much. I rather he has a good cushion in case something happens or just to make sure they don’t go without the basics. It is frigging winter and apparently about to get nasty. So, if you haven’t drop coin yet, go ahead and do so. Again, only if it covers a Happy Meal would be great as that would be one meal less they have to worry about.

I know Oleg Volk is also getting (or already) got something going on. I’ll update when I find out the details.

And to all of you who gave, I thank you deeply. You helped my friend and his family and that is very humbling.
