    1. I got my gun back so nothing criminal can be done by the ATF. Maybe people will be fired, but UPS can’t say anything to me.

This is why stuff like these never gets fixed. It’s easy to sweep under the rug.

      1. So if somebody takes my truck, drives it around for a week, then the police recover it, it was never stolen? I don’t think that’s how it works. Maybe it is just a case of actually filing the complaint with the police?

You could be right about it being easy to sweep under the rug and nothing can be done about it. I guess I’m just holding out hope for at least a wrist slap on somebody for this.

  1. Same here. What happened in regards to the mishandling of your firearm? I’m about to send a firearm back to the factory for some warranty work and I’m a little concerned given your experiences.

  2. I have a buddy who is an FFL. He said he will do the shipping and receiving for $20, plus the cost of shipping. To me, it will be worth the $20 to have an FFL receive it. The problem seemed to be the hold for pickup.

  3. We all know, or strongly suspect we know what happened. However, for a criminal conviction, proof beyond a reasonable doubt is required. Very difficult to prove it was attempted theft, and not an honest mistake. Prosecutors won’t waste their time with a case that, absent a confession, and with the property recovered, will likely result in a hung jury at best. Glad your newest addition to the family is resting with its siblings.
