Ah surely you jest – after all – southside shytown is ably represented by bobbyrush who is really concerned about the welfare of his constitutients – NOT.
Hope and Pray Mr. Obama can return in 2013 where he belongs to help J.J.Jr. 🙂
Canada population in 2010 – 34,149,200, murders – 554.
9 million guns, (estimated)
It’s not the number of guns that cause crime, it’s the people.
I did the math…if we enacted the draconian gun control laws like they have in Venezuela and other enlightened 3rd world nations…and had a murder rate on par with Venezuela’s? Then by now we’d have had 104,500 murders in just 6 months. If we maintained that rate of death for the following 6 months then by years end…with our new and enlightened gun control laws…we’d have had…In a nation with a population more than 11 times the size of Venezuela’s….209,000 murders in a 12 month period…in a nation with a population of over 300 million. Oh and by the way…the last numbers I can come up with in the crime data bases was from 2009. Do you know how many murders we had in 2009? In a nation of then around 240 million people? For the ENTIRE FUCKING YEAR?! Just a shade over 16,000. that’s it. Gun control. *snort* I’ll give you gun grabbin pussies gun control when I put fucking hole in your head right between your eyes.
Those are frigging scary numbers and they make a point: By the time we have reached that number of murders, people would be screaming for more safety and screw rights…which is what is happening in Venezuela and other countries. Chavez has played that card very well.
SCary? No…they truly piss me off. If my final sentence wasn’t indicative of that. 🙂
