Jack, there is a 12 minute video of the short video from the last post.

Check HERE the exchange between the prosecutor and Richard McGinnis. ADA Binger ended up almost treating him like a hostile Defense witness.

J Kb wonders if the Prosecutor is fucking up on purpose. I believe he just thought he had an easy case and coasted the preparation.

  1. It sounds as though the prosecutor is trying to put words in the witness’s mouth, and the jurors’ heads. He seems surprised by the testimony, too, which suggests incompetence or overconfidence, really the same thing. Let’s hope the jurors see this, or at least the defense strongly suggests it. I’d like to hear what someone with real expertise, Branca or Ayoob, make of this. Also, defense ought to dress Rittenhouse better, white or light blue shirt, plain tie. They need to make him look like the kid he is. Trust me, it matters.

    1. He was trying the “what you said to a journalist in a live interview doesn’t precisely match what you’re saying now, so you’re obviously lying” trick. They may have convicted Scotter Libby that way, but…

  2. Agree with Jack’s comment here. In addition, I think the defense has wasted dozens, at least, of potential objections to the leading, speculative and otherwise improper questions the prosecutor is asking. If Kyle’s team think they are somehow winning over the jury by letting the prosecutor get away with all of this, they are most likely mistaken. Juries expect lawyers to stand up for their clients, especially in criminal cases. In this situation, where the PA looks at times, as Jack points out, as if he’s surprised by what his own witness is saying, it’s even more important for the defense to keep him off balance by raising every evidentiary objection they can. When juries think the prosecution is incompetent, it normally helps the defense because it suggests the case isn’t strong in the first place.

(Video of the entire trial is available. Don McClarey at The-American-Catholic.com is posting links daily.)

  3. There is speculation that the PTB are using Kyle as a scapegoat for the destruction of so much property in Kenosha in the three previous nights. “We say Peoples Lives are More Important than Property.” As if destroying dozens of businesses and homes don’t also harm and destroy the lives of their owners?

If only Mayor Antamarian (sp?) and WI Governor Evers didn’t screw the pooch by not bringing in 2,000- 3,000 National Guard to secure the town after the first violent night. The government officials made damn sure to protect all the Government Buildings with all the police and law enforcement. Homes and Businesses not in the Government Green Zone? They were Sh!t Out Of Luck. The only thing they had were few volunterrs like Kyle.

2,000 Guardsmen would have been able to secure the streets and intersections and peacefully overwhelm the violent protesters. Not even Certified Crazy People Like Rosenbaum acted violently when there were multiple armed men around. Rosenbaum only attacked Kyle when he saw a young teenager separated and all by himself.

if Kyle had not been a disciplined and steady young man, he would have been D-E-A-D, and his attacker would probably never be known, much less convicted. A squad of National Guard on the block? Rosenbaum would have slunk away quietly and peacefully.

Mayor Antonomarian and Governor Walz have blood on their hands for not stopping the riots by bringing in the National Guard.

  4. Well, as with the Derek Chauvin trial, doesn’t matter what happens in the court room if the jury’s already decided or is intimidated.

Like also with the Aubrey murder trial.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
