I do Vote-by-Mail since the county elections department kept changing polling places with every election. On this one, I forgot to sign the outside of the envelope and I needed to send an affidavit of omitted signature to make it valid. I downloaded the form and I saw the requirements for identification:

cwp-mail-ballot

I decided to check if poll places are also covered under the same directive, and I gladly found it is so:

cwp-mail-ballot-2

I may have to vote at a polling place for the next elections just to use my CWP.

You gotta love Florida 🙂

  1. You can use your CWL as ID, but God forbid that it should mean that you are a trusted person, able to carry concealed at a polling place without ‘snapping’ and going all medevil on the general populace. (can’t carry open since it will somehow give the special snowflakes the vapors….)

  2. Personally, I always vote in person, on election day.

Too many chances of chicanery with early voting, and mail in ballots.

Checked my state, and they will accept a CWL/CCP as well. I guess it counts as a government issued photo ID, so why wouldn’t they accept it?
