*I want to take a moment here and say that the talking point about Phillips being a “Native American elder” has infuriated me.  It is a total Noble Savage talking point.  In any other circumstance, when an adult instigates a conflict with a child, the adult is to blame.  Except when the adult is  a “Native American elder,” said with awe and reverence by a bunch of liberals like he’s some mystical medicine man full of earthly wisdom and not a professional instigator with the American Indian Movement.

The common theme is that this boy has white privilege, is a racist, rapist (seriously, people have said that), budding neo-Nazi, in a “modern day clan hood,” and that the Today Show should have interviewed Nathan Phillips instead.   Phillips, previously has been interviewed by The Washington Post and CNN among other media outlets.

Giving one interview to the most hated boy in America was just too much.

Then the promo for the interview was released.

What a bullshit question.  Nowhere did I see in any interview Philips get asked if he felt he needed to apologize.  This is an antagonistic interview of a high school junior who did nothing but make a stupid face while a 64 year old man banged a drum in his face.

The comments to this Tweet were even worse.  He’s a Nazi.  This interview is dripping with white privilege.  He shouldn’t have this interview because black kids who have been shot by police have not been interviewed.  This is white privilege protecting itself.  Etc.

Keep in mind that the school has been closed and will remain closed due to death threats for an undetermined amount of time.

The same people blaming a bunch of kids for this, and attacking them in the most vicious ways are the same people that held the Parkland Kids aloft as paragon experts on gun policy and defended every opposition to them with “stop picking on children.”

Peoples’ lives are being ruined by this.

The point of all of this is very clear.  Eradicate the non Leftist presence from the public square.

This is the same tactic that Antifa used, but with social media instead of bike locks.

Find someone in an MAGA hat, bait them, use deceptive editing and camera manipulation to make them look like the perpetrator of a thoughtcrime, destroy them.

The lesson being learned here is, if you are not a pussy hat wearing internationalist, Washington DC is off limits to you if you intend to wear your politics on your sleeve (or your hat).

If you try to voice your opinion in the public square, you will be made to suffer for the rest of your life by having every educational and employment opportunity closed to you by inundating you with baggage.

There is no way that I can see to win this.  If the Left is good at one thing, it is drumming up hate mobs to destroy a political target.
