I saw this headline in Haaretz:

Biden Says Trump Is ‘Dangerous’ to Israel – and Bad for American Jews

It is at this point that I must remind everyone that Trump managed to negotiate peace deals between Israel and the UAE, and Israel and Bahrain.

There is speculation that a peace deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia is next.

Peace is good.  So why does Biden say Trump is dangerous to Israel?

Former Vice President Joe Biden said on Thursday in a briefing to supporters in the Jewish community that his rival in the upcoming U.S. election, President Donald Trump, has “put Israel in danger” by withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal, and has also endangered American Jews by embracing far-right conspiracy theories.

Biden emphasized his support for Israel and for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. That solution, he told the crowd, is “the only way to ensure Israel’s long-term security while sustaining its Jewish and democratic identity. It’s also the only way to ensure Palestinians have a state of their own.”

In addition to opposing annexation, Biden said he would renew diplomatic contacts with the Palestinians, which have been completely cut off since late 2017. “I will reengage the Palestinians,” he said, including the restoration of civilian aid. The Trump administration has cut almost all forms of U.S. aid to the Palestinians, despite requests from Israeli officials to continue that aid, which Israel sees as helpful to maintaining stability in the Palestinian arena.

Ah yes, the “we must appease the Palestinians” road to peace that has failed continuously since 1967.

That has become an article of faith among the Left.

It’s bullshit.

Here is something most people don’t know and the Left refuses to admit:

The rest of the Arab world fucking hates the Palestinians.  They see the truth, which is that the Palestinians are the most corrupt group of assholes in the Middle East.  Every time there has been an attempt at brokering peace between Israel and the Palestinians, the Palestinians squander it and resume the terrorists attacks.

There is too much corruption to change this.  The Palestinians are to Iran as Antifa is to the Democrat party.  They are the violent extremists funded at arm’s length.  Iran sends money and weapons to attack Israel by proxy through Hamas and the PA.

The corrupt UN has no reason to fix this as it has too many people lining their pockets from the UNWRA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East).

So the Palestinians are taught through their schools and state-run media nothing but Jew-hatred and terrorism so that they can continue their attacks on Israel, making peace impossible, so that the leaders in the PA and UN can siphon aid money into their bank accounts and the Iranians can engage in their ideologically motivated attacks on Israel without a formal declaration of war.

Now, let’s throw a few more facts into the mix.

The Western World is going green.  We all want more fuel efficiency.  The US is also for the first time in a long time, self-sufficient on energy.  This has weakened the Arab States’ economies, they know a future entirely dependent on oil profits is not stable.

In addition, Iran is brokering trade and military deals with China.  Because evil is attracted to evil.

The idea of a Shia dominated Middle East, fueled by as Iran/China partnership scares the shit out of the Sunni Arab world.

Side note: this is just another reason for the US to work against China, we don’t need China to build a more militant Iran.

So, Arab states ignoring the Palestinian menace and forging peace deals with Israel, wanting to engage in trade of technology and economic development to diversify their economies beyond oil, and become equals in the developed world is the way of the future.

This is what Biden considered dangerous.  He wants to go back to the days of demanding Israel give up land to the perpetually vindictive Palestinians in exchange for peace deals that last as long as Democrat signed treaties with the Indians.

The only Middle East policy he understands is “it’s always the fault of the Jews” which is an inherently anti-Semitic position, which is why the Obama administration advanced it for years.

That, and he is probably figured out (or been told) that his family can make bank off China working with Iran, even if that means an Iran armed with nuclear-capable hypersonic missiles.

Trump is the first President in history to try a Middle East policy that has at its center something other than appeasing the Palestinians, and it’s worked.

We may yet have peace in our time because of Trump and Biden wants to undo that.

Trump isn’t the danger to Israel, Biden is, by holding on to a policy idea that hasn’t worked in 53 years motivated by anti-Semitism.
