You know? I think we have been fed a lot of misinformation regarding them cute/fuzzy kangaroos.
I am thinking bottom line, one should carry nothing less than full load .44 Magnum. S&W 460 just to be sure.
Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

J/k handguns are illegal in Australia!
They’re More-or-less Man-sized and similar construction so anything that works good on people will do!
I know a few Aussie hunters, and essentially what you hunt white-tails with here, they’ll use to take down reds and grays.
Before they lost their minds and their guns, I was given to believe that everyone in the outback carried a rifle.
I know several australian hunters. One of the most popular cartridges down there is the .35 Whelen. It’s a lot like the .375 H&H in Africa. Powerful enough to kill just about anything on the continent without any more recoil than is absolutely necessary.
Handgun? 10mm.
You sure it will stop a thing like that?
With a Glock 20, I at least get 15-16 shots of “DIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIE!!!!!!”
I wasn’t aware there was anybody left who viewed Roos as anything less than bloodthirsty murder machines.
If a Kangaroo kills you, you came away lucky. The buck-on-buck fights involve leaning back on their tails and attacking each other in the genitals. It is literally “reproduction of the fittest” as the loser is emasculated. When they attack humans, they do it in the same way. You can survive a kangaroo fight, but you may not want to.
