When it has a binary trigger. That means the rifle shoots when you pull the trigger and shoots again when you release it.

The law says that in order to be a rifle (NFA or not), it has to have the mandatory lengths of barrel and overall and shoot one round per pull of the trigger. Shooting binary simply makes for a new type of weapon not specified by the law and therefore to subject to NFA rules.  The ATF gave its ruling and issued it a letter about it.

I am sure more videos are forthcoming and better people will explain better the whole thing.

It tickles me quite a bit if you ask.

  1. Now THAT is bitchin’!!! Guess I will build one, so there’s no serial number, and it will be one they cannot force me to register. Have you considered the build you were talking about? Let me know when you start. Be happy to talk and diagram you through it, to make it simpler…
Have a great day, my friend!!!

    1. The LEO’s here are all NRA and GOA members. I shoot at the range with a few of them. They’re up to date. Texas doesn’t hate guns… we embrace them!! lol!!

    1. Everybody is shitting about ATF’s sudden Legislative powers above and beyond what the US Code says. We are not talking about the Clinton’s definition of the word “IS” here.
Hell, I want them to classify Bumpstocks as Machine Gun Parts just to see the court case and inevitable beat down.

    1. I am in GAB, have been for a while now. GunFreeZoneBlog.
The problem is that WordPress is not developing a plugin to have the post automatically posted to GAB or MeWe like it does in Facebook and Twitter.
And posting one by one is annoying as hell.
