I wanted left a comment on Miguel’s last post, that was until today, my favorite quote by Daniel Patrick Moynihan:
Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts.
Today I found a quote by the beloved, moderate, “gentleman from New York” Democrat Senator, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, when he was ambassador to India:
“Food growing is the first thing you do when you come down out of the trees. The question is, how come the United States can grow food and you can’t?”
Seems to me like he was asking the question “Why is India such a shithole?”
