Obviously, go read the whole thing. It ain’t that long.

At the Democratic-primary debate in Houston last night, Beto O’Rourke formally killed off one of the gun-control movement’s favorite taunts: The famous “Nobody is coming for your guns, wingnut.” Asked bluntly whether he was proposing confiscation, O’Rourke abandoned the disingenuous euphemisms that have hitherto marked his descent into extremism, and confirmed as plainly as can be that he was. “Hell yes,” he said, “we’re going to take your AR-15.”

For years, advocates of the right to keep and bear arms have suspected that confiscation was the endgame but have been rebuffed as paranoiacs in the press. Such a rebuffing is no longer possible.

Yes, They Are Coming for Your Guns

The problem with the Primaries is that they are targeted to the hardcore Democrat voter. And the bigger problem is that the average hardcore voter is shifting from a Nutrasweet Lefty voter to a full fledged Socialist activist waving the Hammer and the Sickle demanding death or imprisonment to those who will not surrender to their demands.

So in order to have a chance to win the primary, a candidate needs to convince the hardcore voter he represents their ideals and one of them is to confiscate firearm from the hands of those evil fuck rednecks on the Right (of them) and if possible (pretty please) send them to a re-education camp which is not possible if they have guns.

Does that mean they really do not have confiscation in their hearts? Short answer: They all do. With this kind, once they taste a bit of power, they are hopeless addicted and want more and more with absolute obedience. But they also know that there is a surefire remedy for that and the pun is intended.

Funny to see that Fake Irish Taco Beto has done more for Gun Rights in one sentence than all of the Chest Thumping® groups in the last 20 years.

I think the important thing to note out of that whole exchange is how the crowd roared their cheers after he said it.

And yes, I should have thought about posting that video. Thanks!

  1. The furry douche bag has probably done more to energize the pro-gun vote than anything so far. Meaning the election is Trump’s to lose if he goes down that road, too.

Assuming he won’t get the nomination, which as close to a 100% chance as we can get, then we need to get the low energy voters to realize that he’s just the only one of them being honest. They all think they’re taking guns.

I think the important thing to note out of that whole exchange is how the crowd roared their cheers after he said it.

    1. The crowd also roared approval in that fake town hall that CNN produced after the Parkland shooting. The one where the Coward of Broward and a bunch of liberals ganged up on the NRA, Dana, and Marco. When Marco suggested that the antis were advocating for a full semi-auto ban, the crowd roared in approval of the idea. I expect the audience for this “debate” was similarly populated with programmed sycophants.

  2. Of all their proposed policies and laws, gun banning and confiscating may be the one that would hit the poor the hardest. They are the ones among most likely to have to defend themselves.

    1. It’s always been that way. See “The racist roots of gun control” by Clayton Cramer. Or just study the history of freedman disarmament, which is why the 14th Amendment was created.

  3. The “we aren’t going to take your guns” has always meant “we might let you own one single shot shot gun- after you go through mountains of paper work, hundreds of hours of inconveniently scheduled “safety” training, and tons of expensive background checks… and you have better keep it unloaded in the approved safe, with a safety lock and the approved amount and type of ammo locked away separately”.

  4. When Feinstein said:
“If I could’ve gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them — Mr. and Mrs. America turn ’em all in — I would have done it. I could not do that. The votes weren’t here…” (and to be precise, she was referring to the 1994-2004 ‘Assault Weapon’ ban)

everyone should have drowned out any demoncrap who said we were ‘wingnuts’ about a ban and confiscation.
These slimeball peabrain tyrants haven’t gone any deeper into their gungrabbing fantasies than where they were Twenty Five Fucking Years Ago, they’re simply the new generation signing onto it.
