If you are willing to put a bit of work or buy a six pack to get that friend who is handy. From Palmetto State Armory: A lower for $49.99.
And an upper for $299.99
$349.98 for an AR 15?
Shipping for the lower is gonna be around $8.50 IRRC plus the FFL fee. Assembly the lower is not that hard and there is a LOT of videos on how to do it, just take your time, do one item at the time and take breaks before watching the video you selected again and proceed to the next step.
And yes, I am tempted to feed and grow the Freedom Seed I got as spare. But you know something will pop demanding cash 5 minutes after I place the order and SWMBO* will have me executed.
If you are one of the heathens (like I was) without an AR, go ahead and order yours even if you don’t assemble it right away.
I need to buy a lotto ticket. I have been forgetting for the last 20 years. Damned memory.
SWMBO: She Who Must Be Obeyed.
It was only a couple of months ago that a local shop was making “buy one, get one free” on Del-Ton and other entry-level AR-15s.
What is the significance (if any) of “stealth” and “stripped” in the description of that lower?
Other than the serial number, it has no markings. You can have it engraved to your specs.
No-Pew/Pew?
There’s no logo/roll mark on the left side of the magwell aside from caliber, model, and serial. You’re free to laser etch your own logo or art in that area, so that’s the reason for “stealth” — according to them.
You’ll still need a rear Iron sight, but those can be had for around $10-20 from Amazon or eBay. If it’s a fixed iron sight even those cheap Chinese ones hold up well (the flip-up ones are a crap shoot, but the QA of knock offs are getting better all the time). Otherwise you can spend a little more and get a Magpul MBUS rear for about $30.
If you want a cheap but reliable red dot, you can think about the Bushnell TRS-25 and a riser, the combo usually is about $63 from Amazon. Acme Machine makes another cheap but reliable Red Dot with QD mount, about $40 from their website.
Oh and magazines! Don’t forget magazines =), $11 pmags everywhere.
With my 80% lower, and about $35 in tooling, my drill press, and a vice, I built a complete AR15-M4A1, for less than $290. I assembled it, with all of the firing battery, and parts purchased. NO FFL needed, and NO interference with the feds. I will NOT comply with them knowing ANYTHING I purchase. FUCK ‘EM!!!! I have places where I can get lowers at INCREDIBLE low prices!! I will give them out privately, it is all legal, and they are known companies. I just will NOT expose them to these libturded people, to cause them to battle them, as they seem to fly under the radar of theses commie bastards, and I will do whatever I can to make sure they stay under their radar…
I paid less than $60 for a 1-10 twist 16″ carbine barrel!! $39 lower parts kit, with grip. Flash suppressor, $20. Upper $55 barrel hand guard – $20(Quad Picattiny) Stock, spring, and buffer assembly, $25. ALL MIL-SPEC!!
I will explain privately to anyone interested, via email….
I am interested as well. No way to email you that I can see though.
Taz, I am afraid I am gonna have to charge you a fee with all the solicitations you are getting…LOL 😀
Hey Taz, Getting tired of typing this because the powers that be keep me from sending an email to you. Yes, I’m interested.
Gee, Miguel, put it on my tab…. lol!!!!! Can you give them my email addy?? I would put it on here, but, I think they might frown upon it. I think Miguel has access to it, and yes, if he gives it to you, I’ll help anyone.
I will make an exception, and here is an email to contact me…

Thanks…
(Edited by Miguel: get rid of the spaces and slashes for the right email)
I need to remark, everything I am doing here, is STRICTLY LEGAL!!! There is nothing nefarious about my methods, or processes in making your own AR…
It is kind of like making your own beer. It is legal and if you are not doing it to sell and make a living the government does not need to be involved with it.
