IMO, the phrase “will be participating in the FLAME march” demands a rejoinder. I think they’re well beyond anything I’d categorize as “flaming.”

Tired Weasel: nope. For most of us, post bat bite (or other potentially rabid bite/exposure, there is RIG (rabies immune globulin) as well as rabies vaccine. One for prompt protection, the vaccine for lasting protection.
Occasionally rabies will develop *months* after the bite, hence the “double barrelled” approach.
