NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Two men are shot on a bridge in Nashville overnight.
One man has died after being shot on the Shelby Street pedestrian bridge just before 1 a.m. Sunday. The other man shot is claiming self defense.
Metro Nashville police say 36-year-old Benjamin Baker died after being shot in the chest by 20-year-old Marcellus Groves who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.
Surveillance video shows Baker, armed with a gun and wearing a ski mask, come up behind Baker, before the two exchanged gunfire.The 20-year-old told police from the hospital that he fired in self defense.
