   Aren’t “epidemics” spread from person to person?

   One of my patients the other day recently was released from a decades long stay in prison (in fact, he was the sunshine highlight of my day. Pleasant, cheerful, polite, attentive, engaged: I told him as much, with my thanks)

   Therefore, following the “epidemic” model, that means that *I* am infected, right?
