Moms Demand Going Postal

ZOMG! Guns in the Post Office? NOoooooo!

Moms going postal

I really don’t see the problem with allowing people to carry in Post Offices. Let us remember that the term “Going Postal” came about because it was postal workers the ones that went bonkers.

That regular folks did no go nuts themselves dealing with the crappy & lazy postal workers on an every day basis is more than enough  evidence that they can pretty much withstand any crap.

But it is fun to see Moms losing their minds….

Must be a movie production in town.

Sometimes you find the strangest thing in Miami and cars are not the exception. Some months ago, I saw an original Charger Super Bee also being transported, but the poor thing was painted in Mint Green…. I shed a tear or two.
Some nights ago, I bumped into a carrier loaded with four 1978 Plymouth Fury (AKA Dodge Monaco,) three in police car configuration and one in civilian:

patrol car 1

patrol car 3

That is Rogers County, Oklahoma. A darn long way from Miami!

The other two came from East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office, Louisiana.
patrol car 2

They were in pretty good shape on the outside and the age did show, nothing that a bit of buffing could not help to make them look good.
No idea on the condition of the inner works.

I used to own (handed down from Dad, the original buyer) a 1976 Dodge Monaco Diplomat (400 cc) so these guys did bring some nice memories… very comfy back seat, lemme tell ya.

State Rep Victoria Steele Home Turf Fail

 CSGV Victoria Steele

A Tucson legislator wants to charge parents with a felony if their kid uses their gun to kill or injure someone.

Rep. Victoria Steele said parents should be held liable for leaving guns where they can fall into the hands of children.

“We’ve seen too many children get hold of guns and hurt themselves or hurt somebody else,” Steele said. “I think parents and people who have guns should be responsible gun owners. … To me, this is a no-brainer. This is responsible parenting.”

via Make parents responsible if kids get a hold of guns, Tucson lawmaker says.

State Representative Victoria Steele is in Arizona. Which is funny as hell because her worry about guns falling into the hands of people who should not apparently did not include those involved in Operation Fast and Furious which happened in her damn courtyard and no record of her making a comment of any kind appears after a Google-Fu.

But, you know: Dead Mexicans don’t vote in Arizona. Maybe in Chicago.

Moms Demand Go Hollywood.

They are all mist with the new help from Tinsel Town:

MOMS Hollywood

Well, let’s see what we have here:
Steven Soderbergh, who has already made 2 movies in defense of convicted child rapist Roman Polanski… yup, now that is a character reference.

Then we have Sean Penn who was charged with felony domestic assault, a charge for which he pleaded to a misdemeanor in which he allegedly beat the crap of Madonna; yet he managed to collect 60 firearms?  But hey! He is from the Hollywood patrician class so get gets not only exempt but cheered by Shannon Watts……but wait? Moms did launch a campaign back in October against Spousal Abuse, so how could they now cheer Sean Penn? Oh yes, he used a baseball bat against the Material Girl and not a gun. He is cool.
And then we have Harvey Weinstein who has made more profit out of guns than the infamous Military-Industrial complex. He promises to stop making movie that glorify guns but not a peep if he plans to stop being involved in the production of Sin City II or if he is going to return the “blood money” he made in those movies he made that glorified guns. Of course he has no problem glorifying The Mob, drug addicts, mass killers using guns and other instruments, pornography and even Michael Moore.

You gotta admit, Moms Demand Action’s allies are all highly moral & upstanding citizens.

The Bonaci Jewelry Store Attempted Robbery | The ProArms Podcast

In May 0f 2013 and armed robber attempted to rob the Bonaci Jewelry Store in Kent, WA. The robber came in with his gun drawn, Bob Bonaci had little time to react but react he did. He performed the indicated response and the robber was found dead on a bench some time later.

There are many lessons to learn from this incident. The first lesson is how fast this can and did happen and how little time you may have to react. We have several videos from a couple of different angles showing how quickly this transpired.

There is a lot of Tacti-Cool Ninja pseudo instructors that “teach” all kinds of cool ninja crap but when the time of reckoning is near, the answer is always the same: Basics.

You are welcome.

Ain’t this a contradiction?

protest easy guns no gun superbowl

It did not look like a Gun Free Superbowl to me:

Law enforcement officials in New York and New Jersey have ramped up security in anticipation of Super Bowl XLVIII in East Rutherford on Sunday, utilizing just about everything in their arsenals – including sharp-shooting snipers – to protect those in attendance from any possible terrorist attack.

I bet those are Airsoft rifles dispensing M&Ms.

You know what I find fascinating?

That I have not heard one peep out of Moms Demand Action about Diane Swayer’s Young Guns special last week.  I wonder if this had anything to do with it:

The special includes interviews with parents who have lost their children to unsecured guns in their own home or at their neighbor’s house, and kids who surprise their parents by showing them where guns are “hidden.”
A DIANE SAWYER SPECIAL: “YOUNG GUNS”

If you had the stomach and have been following Moms, you may have noticed that they started a campaign to make sure parents go to jail if a kid dies in an firearms-related accidental death. (Other deaths are OK with Moms Demand)

Mom accountability

Nothing ails the pain a family has to be suffering due the accidental death of a child like sending a parent to jail. And in this sense, Shannon Watts and the Moms raise cruel to a new level with their PR stupidity:

Mom accountability 2
A kid is dead, thanks to their meddling a father is on its way to trial for murder but they “feel” for the family. What is next? Kill the family dog and burn their house on a fit of empathy?

These are sick, sadistic women.
