Dr. Fauci recommends wearing goggles to prevent catching the coronavirus

Dr. Anthony Fauci says that eye protection may be recommended at some point to help prevent spreading COVID-19.

Fauci explained that the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19 infects mucosal surfaces — or parts of the body including the eyes, nose and mouth that secrete mucus to stop pathogens and dirt from getting into your body. So “perfect protection” of your mucosal surfaces would include covering every one of them up, he said.

“Theoretically you should protect all of the mucosal surfaces, so if you have goggles or an eye shield, you should use it,” he said.

This can’t be real.

Feds to leave Portland; plan includes OSP in downtown

Governor Brown said federal officers will be leaving Portland by Thursday at the latest.

She tweeted the news early Wednesday morning.

“After my discussions with VP Pence and others, the federal government has agreed to withdraw federal officers from Portland. They have acted as an occupying force & brought violence. Starting tomorrow, all Customs and Border Protection & ICE officers will leave downtown Portland,” she said.

The deal requires the Oregon State Police to provide security for federal property.  The OSP is under the purview of the governor who clearly supports Antifa.

In the Utopian world of the Left, with the feds gone, everything will be peaceful.

In Conservativeland, this will be taken as a victory by Antifa who will only destroy more because they can get away with it.

I suspect that the mob will go at it twice as hard because the mob has been told that it won the standoff.

All of these scary headlines are based on the number of deaths reported by the state on any given day. This is not the same as the number of deaths that occurred on those days.

The Press knowingly decided to ignore that the deaths occurred in the space of 26 days and just went with the four days in which they were reported which makes for a much sensational and negative number to be used for political ammunition against Governor DeSantis, President Trump and the Republicans.

But I have to place blame of the way this virus crap has been presented by the state: By showing these artificially concentrated numbers, the state opened itself to be chewed by the Media jackals and their Democratic buddies. And the lack of effort on coming down with a media blast of their own calling them as for the fraud they are, lays at the feet of the Florida Executive branch. They are doing full contact MMA and the Go9vernor is responding with patty cake.
