But why on the halls of angels can she possibly come up with such a load of absolute BS? The graphic gives us the answer:
Because it looks dangerous! It appears somebody used the picture of a 10/22 with aftermarket furniture and that is enough to transform it from a Plinker/Squirrel Killer to Weapon of Mass Destruction comparable only with Fat Boy Man.
But it is an Internet Meme that agrees with my ideas so it must be true! So let’s have no Due Diligence in making sure and accept it.

Wait, there’s a minimum rounds per minute, and it’s not zero? So “assault weapons” are always spewing bullets, no matter what? Well, that does sound dangerous.
On the other hand, congratulations to Ruger on squeezing so much effectiveness out of .22LR. A 2.2 stop ratio for each round fired is simply amazing. Definitely the winner for home defense.
I was wondering at her maximum RPM numbers. 75 rounds per minute for “semi-auto”? Any shooter should be able to empty a mag, and get a fresh one in there fast enough to get at least 100RPM, even with a 10/22’s 10 rounders. Give someone an AR and 100 round Surefires (assuming they work) they should be able to mag dump closer to 400 easily.
She couldn’t even be bothered to go misinterpret the cyclic rate listed on Wikipedia…
