…that shows a brand new gun store in New York peddling guns by associating them with mass killings. And then you are told that the store is a fake staged by whatever gun control group.

You didn’t have to tell me it was a fake store, my reaction was 100% Pace Picante Sauce:

Gun Store? In New York City?

  1. I saw as much of the video as I could stomach. What a bunch of miserable assholes. You had people come in who were serious about wanted a gun, mostly for personal protection, and these schumcks shamed them into regretting their decision. It was mean and nasty – and of course totally representative of anti-gunner behavior.

But I felt most bad for the perspective patrons, who were genuinely curious and made to feel bad because of it.

It goes without saying that I’ve seen schmucky behavior by gun store staff before – usually in the form of the mall ninja forcing somebody to buy a Glock “in a caliber that starts with 4 and ends with 5” even when that is not the right gun for the patron. But in general the gun community seems a lot more welcoming than the anti-gun community. If I was one of those people, curious about a gun, and then get blamed for an accidental death, I’d be less inclined to support their cause for insulting me.

    1. The “customers” are most certainly actors. The shop is fake, the guns are fake, and the “shop keeper” obviously knows nothing about guns. ..

Why would they have ONE real thing presented?

  2. if you look closely when the store “owner” handles/cycles the guns you can tell they are NOT real (ie airsoft). When he racks the shotgun the slide moves but the bolt is stationary. Also look at the slide on the 1911. You can see a very strange extractor right behind the ejection port, .22LR at best.

Also, in NY State (and probably worse in NYC) a gun shop customer has to have a permit before he can even TOUCH a handgun! I must have missed the part were the shop “owner” asked for it.

    1. What makes you believe that did anti-gun liberals have follow gun laws when advocating for more gun laws/bans/restrictions. I seem to remember an anti-gun liberal waving a prohibited 30 round mag around a TV studio in DC, on camera, and got away with it.

I’m pretty sure Michael Bloomberg could sell a pistol with a high capacity mag to a felon in Times Square all captured on video, and as long as he said that he did it as a stunt to prove how easy it is for a felon to buy a gun, he’d never get arrested.

Gun laws only apply to *evil* Second Amendment supporting gun owners, don’t you know that?

  3. Apparently mega-agency Grey Advertising had a hand in this. They conveniently have a list of their clients on their site. Lots of companies who won’t want to be associated with this on the list, including P&G. As a customer and stockholder, I’ve contacted them and let them know I will be seeking alternatives until they fire Grey or Grey recant their attack on our rights.
